  1. Sky, as mentioned in a previous post: The headlights covers are expensive, expect something like $400 - 500 a set. The black chrome, or greenish, or other type of headlights will all be around the same price.bv Another thing is shipping. These taillights are packed in boxes that are 25" x 16" x 16" each, so shipping will be expensive!
  2. Hey Vanzant, don't spoil this GB for others. Also, don't mislead people with your Ebay pricing. The $275 prices are WITHOUT SHIPPING. Shipping is another $38 dollars for 3 weeks shipping time or another $48 for express shipping. That makes the total price: $323! My estimated price is with Express shipping. I do not mind discussing pricing and other items, but do not post untrue information!
  3. I am planning to organize a Group Buy for new-style taillights. Before posting firm details, I want to know how many people are interested. Price needs to be confirmed, but will be likely approx USD310 - 330 depending on no of participants. This price will include shipping and also will include the wiring harness and a new set of bulbs. I will wait for a few days and before deciding on the GB. Please post your interest and comments.
  4. Before I would do any hardware change, I would also replace the transmission oil and flush the autotransmission box.
  5. Not sure if I somewhere answered this (or a similar) post. There are some aftermarket grille available, and I can supply some of these. Most of these grilles were developed for the Toyota Harrier, which is the Japan market version of the RX300. I don't think that they are expensive, i recall something from USD200 - 300 shipped. Wooden steering wheels are more expensive, and probably requires your chassis no and interior trim color code, in order to find a match. Send me a pm if you have more specific questions.
  6. I do not think it is the SNOW mode. This mode will only be active if you press it and will reset itself after each time.
  7. I have a '98 GS300 and do not have this issues (knock wood :P ) How long did you take of th power from the battery? You need probably more time, let's say a few minutes. But the way, I recently changed my existing airfilter for a new sports one and have a slightly better performance/reaction (also more noise ;) )
  8. By the way, you can also fit the GS400 rims on your GS430
  9. To what I know, yes. I believe that one of the screws can only be reached after removing the bumper.
  10. There are many different grilles available for the RX300. Most of them are JDM parts, or original Toyota Harrier parts. Toyota Harrier

  12. What is the sense of buying the original parts then? If you want to be as close as possible, you may considering getting a TRD HID conversion kit, which is also not cheap.
  13. Did you still have the standard rims or aftermarket rims? I also sometimes occur that the car is following too much the dips/marks on the road, I expect that this is because the bad condition of our roads, and because of my wide rear tires ( 265/35/18). Perhaps if you can try some other rims and compare if that makes a difference?
  14. please post some pics, so we can give you a recommendation. By the way, do you have an GS300 or GS400 and what year?
  15. No, if you have HID then you do not need to replace these. By the way, you can order only head light covers, no need for complete headlight sets.
  16. you can order headlight covers from your Lexus dealer However, you need to be aware that you need to remove your front bumper, before you can remove your old head lights and install the new head lights. I have heard that there are greenish headlights, but only have sold the black chrome headlights. Personally, I think that there are other mods more valuable, like replacing the old-style taillights for the new ones, replacing the dash bezel with the new one with the chrome rings, ... I have the chrome ones, but you really need to look twice (or park it next to a GS with the old head lights) before you can see it.
  17. I recall seeing some Aristo TT JZS161 engines at some of the local (= Hong Kong) junk yards. The also sell other parts as well. If you are interested, drop me a pm, and I will ask these Junk Yards for a quotation.
  18. Yes, and we test you if you still remembers the right answer
