My son's girlfriend 2003 Corolla had similar problem @ 55-60mph. Turned out that replacing pads and turned rotors solved it.

Hi Blake, How's your therapy going? Court case? Any luck on the speed sensor? Thanks VH I was forced up onto a median...There is not much left of the transmission. The impact broke the motor mounts and kinda trashed everything underneath. But if I can save them, they are yours since I cannot guarantee working order. You just pay shipping. -
Darn it ! The O/D light came back flashing again ! Any thought / help ? Thanks

Thanks for the replies. Yes, he told me that he had difficulty starting ie. it did not want to start. When started, it wanted to die or idled roughly (both parking and neutral modes). Regarding the brake light icon on dash, we kept replacing one of the brake light bulbs (passenger side tail light assembly) and it kept blowing. Now, everything is fine

Hi, Symptoms: 1. My son's 91 LS400 was idling roughly (between 300-500rpm), 2. TRAC light flashing, 3. Brake light icon lighted So: 1. Unwrapped the trunk hinge wiring 2. Found 2 wires: W-B and Y damaged 3. Repaired those 2 wires BINGO !!!!

Hi, My son's 91 LS400 never has the problem but my 92 Honda Prelude does (regularly). The cause is one of the (MAIN) relays. By the way, this only happens when the outside weather is hot and humid -
Someone in the past mentioned that the rubber O-ring inside the gas cap needs replaced.

I very much appreciate if you can look at the transmission for the 4 speed sensors (screwed ONTO the transmission) since I doubt if the accident damaged them Thanks so much -
I went to Autozone and thought that the sensor they sold looked different than the OEM one. So I returned it. You must make sure that it is the right one. Let me know.

Hi, Think your VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) which is screwed onto the transmission has called it a day. May cost between 250 - 320 part to fix. If you can find cheaper, let me know
