  1. I went in and complained about the excessive squeaking they were doing, and the back ones were replaced under the TSIB. I had no issues after that.
  2. Bulb was replaced under warranty, then I replaced the car with an '09, lol. The bulb was bad was the problem.......was told it'd be about $300 at dealer rate to replace.......
  3. "6. while still holding the trip reset button, buckle the driver's side seatbelt." I just did it this past week in my '09, and it worked first try. I used it on my '06, and it worked first try. Not sure why it's not working for ya.
  4. I was just quoted $800 for a clear bra on my IS. That covers the bottom bumper, lights, foglights, hood, and mirrors. Does this seem reasonable? I'm in Southern California.....
  5. WOKNNLA is mine. I'm a Missing Persons fan.....
  6. My issue is my headlights will be on, and I will notice, like when I'm behind a car, or pulling into my garage, that the left headlight is out completely. The right one will still be on. I'm waiting for my SA to call me back......
  7. Anyone have issues with their headlight(s) working one day, and then not the next?
  8. I think if you can learn to live with the rattles, that's the best thing. Hopefully they were fixed, in your instance. Oh, and my "Check VSC" light, gas cap wasn't on right. So EVERYONE make sure you put your gas cap on correctly (thought I did, lol!), or else all your bells and whistles will start going off in the dash......
  9. Haha, Clay. Do I complain about my rattles that much ;) Anyway, have to take the car in tonight due to "VSC Check" light and check engine light on. I'm thinking 'bout telling them to work on getting that rattle taken care of, too! Any update since you had it in for this?
  10. It's not necessarily a "buzz," but more of a rattle. It has gotten very annoying. Next time I take it in, I will tell the service advisor I want it fixed...... Let us know what happens.....
  11. Per the car make, it is a snail, comparing to other cars. I had my BMW 330ci up to the limiter, which was ONLY 138, lol I have the Lamborghini Gallardo up to 160 on the 210 freeway, and that was only cuz the traffic wouldn't let me go any faster. Yes, 160 is fast. It's all fast.. It's just comparisons. Now, I'm not going to talk about when a friend of mine decided to test out a Ferrari 360, and got it almost up to 200, cuz I'm sworn to secrecy! ;)
  12. And I assume that's a lease? I pay $550 a month with a substantial sum down (back at the end of '07), and it's financed.
  13. Mine's an '07 with 46,000 miles......haven't had the issue with the moonroof yet, but I remember something about that with my '06.
  14. I've got a new one. It's in the passenger door. I don't know if it's the speaker, or in the door, since I'm always driving the car. I'll have to take it in, and I'm sure the techs won't notice anything, cuz it won't do it when they have it...... I can just push the arrow button on my A/C, to warm up or cool off, and the dash will crack. Changing temps in the car, is what I say it is. That doesn't bother me as much since it's not a "consistent" rattle, meaning over and over and over and....... Jay, let me know how you like the '09. I've been thinking about a new one, but with the economy going the way it is, have held off a little bit..........
  15. Yeah, I just called my service advisor, and he told me it related to certain VIN numbers, and mine is an older-model 2007, so don't have to worry about the "rack and pinion." lol. I didn't receive anything in the mail from Lexus re the fuel lines. However, I did get a letter from them this week telling me to bring in my car for the 45k service.
  16. I wasn't told about the electric power steering. Okay, girl question, do all IS 250s have "electric" power steering?
  17. Took my car in yesterday for the 45,000-mile service, and my service advisor told me that Lexus was going to replace my fuel lines free of charge. I asked him if it was a recall, and he looked at me with a grin and said the name of whatever it was, Service something-or-other, but said it was basically a recall. It wasn't anything from a higher-up source telling Lexus to do it, they were doing it on their own. Anybody heard of this? I guess I could do some research, but thought I'd start here first..... And geesh, I haven't been on here in a while, I just saw ri****in was banned! (Or however his name was spelled, ya'll know who I mean......) I really need to read all of those posts, lol!
  18. Oh, great, now I know what NOT to put on my license plate!!!!!!! ;)
  19. That's a waste of some perfectly good rubber there, but it's kinda cool, I have to admit. And OMG, that Segway stuntman, geeeeez!!!!
  20. On my '06 IS250, the felt was placed behind the dash, which means the dash needs to come out. Frankly, if my dash doesn't pop, I'll think something is wrong with my car. It popped yesterday like crazy, and scared the you-know-what outta me!
