not sure about the cause but a fix should be cheaper! i found a tranny for $600+$400 labor! (check online junkyards, have item shipped to shop) but when my tranny went out it was due to a power flush and the car did make numerous strange noises. when i put her in gear, no movement. step on the gas and the engine would rev high for a sec, then MAYBE the tranny would catch. after a lil bit the whole thing was dead <_< . Good luck P.S. rebuild=online junkyard. the shop i dealt with even had the "rebuild" kit on the wall. guy kept talking about how things had melted and such, we gotta throw this in and that in, blah, blah. when i mentioned the junkyard price, suddenly his whole attitude changed from "show me the money" to "how may we assist you"

honestly i think that iraq can be a democracy. what scares me is what happened to Germany when the first became a democracy(post WW1). remember how Hitler used the democracy to gain a majority in the government, which was completely legal? the only thing with him is that he was psycho form the start! who's to say that cant happen in iraq? i really think iraq needs some pride in their country and the beauitful things that are present! like i said my friend went to iraq and he told me that the iraqi's are just like children, you have to show them everything, which is good meaning i think they can be changed. but just like germany, a new generation has to arise and take control; hitler served in WW1 and was top dog in WW2, see? this current generation of iraqi's remember everything, so their view will more than likely be lopsided. but with that said, he also said that iraqi's are some of the coolest, friendly, hostipitable people! in general i think everyne wants to live in peace and democracy is the correct way for iraq. how can they participate in world affairs if they have no expirence with it at home. the U.N is a form of democracy. do i think it will spread to other countries? hmmmmmm. lets think about "Islam", which means "Submission." you decide? personally i think no, but imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! :D I think Iran is bluffing also, they know that they have no nukes, or means to start a fight. didn't Iraq do the same? but then again Iraq was hated by most in the Middle east, so, who knows? truthfully i would like to know if Iran truly wants nuclear energy in their country? it sounds like a good investment to me. the threat of nuclear warheads is always a possibility, now or later. form what i've read, Iran wants electricity, but the Bush Admin wants Iran to remain dependent on other countries, for security reasons, seeing as their location is vital to world oil??? try to think like you were a member of the tehran(iran's gov't)? the U.S. just inveded Iraq and is now taking note on your "peaceful" actions. would you just back down and accept demands from a govt that the region is against? if so then your own people would see the weakness and attempt a coup, maybe? and what i meant about the Jihad is that "you fight fire with fire," common sense, right? these islamic extremist have a "religious" duty to perform certain actions! they are not forced, they do it WILLINGLY! why, they feel that there is something greater than their poverty torn country, or whatever. well, if the enemy is %100 gungho, the we must also! but this country was founded on Christianity, a peaceful religion, and due to the Constitution that would be very hard. but what if there was a "second pearl harbor" like mentioned in the movie? i've seen photos or recrutiing stations after pearl harbor and the turnout was amazing! why? they felt there was something greater than their poverty torn country, or whatever (remember this was during Great Depression). yeah if you use OEM parts, stick with OEM intervals. they've extensively researched the car for the best averages on components. that WS fluid sounds like pretty good stuff!?

Yes indeed! i found this site after using Lexls.com! i also found CL, but those guys seem sorta prissy! maybe it's the fact that most are form Cali (heard bad things about Cali forums thru gamers). and the chumps won't even let me post! what a waste of time! HIS COUNTRY! he knows all the back roads, hidden tunnels, etc. Bin Ladin, on the other hand "cant be found?" and Bush isn't fighting back he's instigating conflict! and my heart pains me to think about the next few years after all the messes he made are attempted to be cleaned? IRAN, IRAQ, RUSSIA, CHINA, N. KOREA, they wont forget. But with that said, who cares! if wanted, Bush could have me taken out! catch my drift! the world is comming to an end fast! just make sure you have the correct Bording Pass!

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH! with no spare(used car)! i know this is a easy time to remind me that lexus will reprogram ne Master keys for me but it's a little too late! i thnk i saw something in the Owners manual about helping get into the car without keys but the manual is in the car! feel so stupid right now, and am afraid i'll have to call a locksmith, because he might not be able to help? and the windows are not really an option because replacement cost will not be justifiable! please, if anyone can help i work tonight for 8 hrs but i need help asap (dont know when locksmith closes, also no AAA, but parents do have it?)

just changed the oil about two days ago and filled the tires. checked oil level while car was cold, right where it needed to be. so then i drove around and warmed the car but couldn't get a 100% accurate reading? should i stick with the cold level or drain some oil?

now it sounds like we are on the same page! with that being said i really like this forum (and others like it) lots of info and expirence! the lines on the inside of the headlight housing is a well documented issues with two main solutions! 1) wet sand the lines off the housing until as clear as possible 2) cut out the old glass/plastic and swap for MR10 clear plastic with a good sealer haven't really decided which way to go (sanding sounds longer but easier) but i have made a purchase on some projectors. for starters i'm going to start with Acura MDX projectors. YES i know that these are Halogen projectors but can be heavily moded and have great potential! will have some prelim shots soon!
