  3. hey steve does the sc have a 1jz or a 2jz in the UK? if its the 1jz how about a gte bottom end swap? or we could split the engine you take the bottom end and i will take the head

    the 330 could just be a japan option beause you get hit by big taxes as the displacement goes up
  7. hey SK the JICs can be adjusted more than some Flexes? which one has a softer ride? the magical stuff or the green things

  10. the tt just has more potential for power with ordinary means of bolt on parts. dont get me wrong the supra GT in japan uses a 3uzfe bored to 5163cc making over 500 horses of NA power but normal people cant do that unless you have an engineering team that works for you making engines.... and a butt load of money

  14. well the good thing about the 1jz is if you want more displacement you can just get a 2jz bottom and slap it on (but i think you need to tune) and you get a displacement a tad over 3000cc's

  17. with 190k miles on there i think you might want to look in to other things along with your struts like your front ball joints bushings from your upper and lower arms to swaybar bushings strut arm bushings then get new wheel bearings installed at least in the front all of this will reduce alot of suspension noise and not only that but it will ride like new and be a hell of alot smoother but this comes with a big price tag too well over 1000 bucks is needed and oh did i mention motor mounts?
  18. well if you want the jdm-ness then thats the way to go im not sure if the mounts are the same and well thats what it comes with in japan so why not try and get the instrument cluster while your at it
  19. i dont know .2 mills is kind of big even though it is close you dont want to take chances with these kinds of things
  20. your talking about the side steps right? yea it came on the 97 and up models and well the only thing i know is that it does fit (my friend did it) i dont know about your mud flaps though and since your going to get that painted why not get the newer (97+) front bumper and rear skirts?(just a suggestion)
  21. dont even thin of using standard sockets on a metric car go out and get the right one and it is possible to get it off by hand if your changing the timing belt just shove some towels between the belt and pullies so that it wont move then just have a breaker bar thats a good 2 feet and it will be fairly easy. i dont recomend the starter method because it sounds crude and i dont think its really good for the car or its electronics.
