    try to turn the wheel either way while trying to turn the key. that should free the lock up.

    the front wheel bearing on these cars look just like a normal ball bearing that you would see anywhere. i changed my fronts on my LS and all i took was the hub assy. the bearing, and the dust seals. i think the shop is thinking this car might have an inner and outer race? anyway just go and get the seals and the bearings. you should be fine.

    sounds kinda electrical. maybe the switch is broken?

    you will need alot of things as the 400 positions little things differently. i personaly would start with a 300. but if you must i would just try to get a front clip.

    yea but if your cats may have clogged or melted as a result of a bad coil that made the engine run rich which melted the cat :P

    yes changing your ring and pinion is the fastest way to gain acceleration.

    maybe your suspension arm bushings are gone?

    I wasn't aware that the motor could even run with more then two or three cylinders not firing.... Are you sure? That is the very reason I did not think the coils were bad... well the car has 2 coils right? if one coil goes out i think 4 cylinders die. the car will run on 4. try disconnect your coil :P

    with 1 cylinder out the power wont be that bad. it would be driveable. when a coil goes out 4 cylinders go out and that feels like 5 horsepower.

    if its excessive it may be your transmission throttle cable that has broken and giving too much line pressure at idle resulting in a jerk. if its just a noise then have someone lie down by the car while you shift and listen for the noise.

    its under a bunch of covers. dont bother, its the coil.

    a transmission will not in anyway give you more power. rather a better gear ratio. the engine has changed a little resulting in the extra hp

    yea a 6 speed manual is hard to beat even with the 5speed auto

    the bushings will probably cost an hour of labor which is can be anywhere from $65-120?

    first off you dont need to type with your caps on. we can all see the typing. second the a/c may turn off if the engine is overheating. otherwise the two are unrelated. 92lex and dcfish i will send both of you beers and a frozen cup :P

    oh yea thermostat!

    a flush couldnt hurt especially if you havent changed your coolant in a few years as the coolant looses its effect after extended use.
