  1. http://www.importscene.com.au/category124_1.htm Right now I see it at $185. That is a great looking shifter. How does it feal? The normal one looks old and is big. http://www.automotivehelper.com/topic4798.htm http://www.napolex.com/main/catalog/levoc.html I think the black might look better with my Black LS.. Any opinions?
  2. I typed in Lovac at google and some company has them for $185 bucks. I think it looks great! Also the spoiler looks good just its not for me. Cheers to LEXUS
  3. I dont mind the cities or on the highway. I think the LS is such a looker. Its just a wonderful experience where ever one goes. I crack the roof and rear windows. then play some tunes! Love live the LS
  4. Yeah each week will be better then the previous. Enjoy every second!
  5. For sure front end (uppers, bars or something). When I test drove three Lexus's, two of them had these issues. Good luck!
  6. Cant wait to get my second LEXUS. It will be a 95-00..
  7. Hey dude I have a 93 (replica of the 94) with a bit over 90k. I paid 7k for the LS and I love it! The dash has issues and it is capacitors.. The timing belt was not changed, but the 93 and I think 94 have the indifferential motor.. This means belt can break (should not happen till 130k) and the car will stall with no other damage. Another common issue is a leaking power steering pump. Some things I suggest are new tint (30/15), wheels and lights (clear tail and bumper). If you get a good deal buy the LS. You will love every second, hopefully half as much as I love mine!
  8. Just put a 100 piece tool set in my LS. Found it in the garage and had no where else to put it. Armyofone... Yeah man get the LS it is a wonderful car for the money. I put new wheels, tint and lights (clear bumper and rear) on mine. The 93 looks like a 05 and its awesome! Although my income only went up 20% this year everyone who sees me loves to say "man you must love that Lexus" or "you look good in that Lexus". Now and forever I will not repete my year. Although I do blurt it out often since I think it shows how awesome it looks for the year. Also the LS saves you a ton in taxes.. Its as safe as you can get.. People move out of the road... Registration is cheep.. Its as dependable as anything on the road.. It looks amazing!! I love my LEXUS, but I need to get to bed!
  9. A super Eclipse... I am sure its got some power and rides like a champ.
  10. Do all the dummy lights get projected from the top front of the dash? If so could one use black tape there? I might be wrong, but for some reason I suspect some stuff is projected.
  11. Well as with everyother day with my LS it was great! Today I woke up and was anxious to travel to another country. Of course first I have to drive to the airport or 60 miles away. Always a lovely drive when I have the LS. So I start crusing to some great tunes and enjoy the ride. After an enjoyable 50 minutes I visited McDonalds where I get a few compliments on my 93 LS. Must be the tires? Then I drive to the parking lot and I get a few more compliments. Must be the driver? As I am sitting there a guy pulls up in the ES300 and we talk about how great out cars are. Could life get any better. I am always amazed by the fact that 99% of people think my 03 LS is a 50,000 dollar car. Ohh I meant to say my 93 LS looks like a 03/$50k car. Cheers to LEXUS.
  12. Go Air Force and the US armed services!
  13. Is there a general book that covers all repairs for the LS400/430. I know other cars have this, but I forgot the name.
  14. If you have the money sure, but I would wait. I dont think its 100% on the issues with the alternator. My mechanic states that you could buy a new one and it could go just as easy as an old one. I mean its electrical and one never knows. I love AAA in case I ever get in the bind. Also it helps me keep my Marriott prices down. Cheers and good luck
  15. What capacitors were they? Anyone have any luck on the sticking tacho and speedo's? I am going to do this. Just dont power car when panel is removed.. I hear the airbag light comes and stays on.
  16. Yeah its a bummer.. Something to do with capicators behind the dash. Either 1200 at LEXUS or 250 by Jim Walker..
  17. Congrats you are going to love the LEXUS!! Its so awesome to drive the best car on the road!! Previously I had a Ford Contour SE and it was okay, but now I feel like a bull. The LEXUS is awesome!!
  18. Nice.. About the fuel filter.. I was just stating it could have issues if you run it low often. Good luck..
  19. cars.com Yeah man pass on this one. It sounds like it went through hell and back. Good luck to you.
  20. Thats a great deal. Take it for a ride and it should ride as well as anything you drove before. I just paid 7k for a 93 with 93k on it.
  21. Could you imagine hiting an ant at over 30mph with those rims? My friend bought some 20s for his Acura and he hit something small and one wheel broke. Screwe dat..
  22. That is funny. I hate birds and cats. The birds love to aim for the LEXUS. Tonight I think I am going to set up a trap to catch the cat who is walkin on my hood. Any ideas? I'm thinking someing with tunafish and a tail catcher. This way it could lift the little *BLEEP* in the air by his tail.
  23. Well its a rather interesting process. I challenge my self get the job done and a work out at the same time. Start with the rinse mode and gently go to the foam brush. Make sure you hit every area including the top of the car. Now as you bypass 2 minutes focus on the wheels. These minor details make a huge difference. After the tires you will have less then 69 seconds to go so you have to be quick. Remain focused on the goal and switch to rinse cycle. Use the top to bottom approach to rinse off the soap. As the beeping and your burning arms are about to overwhelm you the water will shut off. At this point your LEXUS should have no soap and look awesome! NOW for the most important part.... Take out your California squeegee and clear off every drop of water. If this is not done you will have water stains on your newly washed car. If one can complete the wash without adding quarters they are in great shape, two quarters means good shape, four quarters means too many 12 oz curls and over 8 quarters means you spent to much time on the details. If anyone has any more questions feel free to email me. Right now I have to go buff my LEXUS with the 2470.
