So the 50k power pump and belt are fine, so dont change. I have a nice 93 and the tachometer and speedometer stick also. You might have a lighting issue when its cold. They flicker when you turn them on until they warm up. For 4200 I would buy. Maybe there is a seal or something leaking oil. I would get a 105 point inspection from LEXUS for $100 bucks. They know these cars inside out. Cheers to LEXUS..

For sure replacing the deck is critical. In general the deck is the most important part of system. Is there an amp under drivers seat?

Hopefully no more hurricanes this year. I was just down in Pensacola and there was a lot of people from LA. People working at the resteraunts and people in the hotels had a lot of stories. The good thing is the worst should be over with!

The deck needs to be replaced. I believe there is some brackets out there for a standard deck to fit in place of the LS deck. Get a new deck and bracket for less then $150 bucks. For the blinker light I do not know. I changed the yellow bumper lights to clear and it looks great! I am not sure if there is a filter above the glove compartment in the 90-94? Having a nasty smell stinks. :)

I dont know why not, but call Best Buy or local stero installer and ask them. They should know. For the most part the deck accepts an input from the CD player so I suspsect it should be a simple change.

LS rules the land. Mine is 12 years old and after renting about 20 cars this year I can say it is the best. The drive is so smooth, fast and awesome! Everytrip I find myself super excited to come home and drive her home from the airport. Its such a welcome home! On top of that if your dad wants the feeling of being in a eye catcher like the 7 series the LS will do the job! Cheers to LEXUS

Hey man in reguards to the 8" speaker... Open your trunk and look in towards the back seats in the middle (on top) you will see the 8" sub. As for the door speakers I ripped apart the rear door to see what was up with intermittent speaker. For sure the 12 year old speaker is no big deal. It handles 40 watts and is a one way. Does the 93LS have a 40 watt 4 channel amp? If so I suspect the amp or the deck has issues. When I jack up the sound to almost max the left rear speaker kicks in. Sometimes it works so I think I am going to leave it. Next I will bypass the amp and see if the speaker works. I also think the stock deck looks great in the LEXUS. It just seems to fit. Also the NAMACHAIE system is not to bad.

Wow, tonight I invested 2 bucks into my LEXUS and it looks amazing. What a difference a car wash can make! Finally after being on the road for a month I have been able to take out the LEXUS. This time I rented an Avalon and Celica GT. Both were kewl, but nothing like the LEXUS! Cheers to LEXUS!

Hello, Just curious if the sub is a 10 or 8" Also has anyone changed their deck? Amp? & Speakers? I hear the 3" two ways can fit in the 5" slot with a braket. I know most decks now put out what the amp in car puts out. In all reality the system is not that bad so I might just keep, but trying to explore options. I love music and my LEXUS!

93LS for 4 months and I love it! I paid 7k for one with less then 100k. The car looks and rides better then most 05's. Everyone thinks I am loaded and that helps for my industry. I love my LEUXS.

You have a leak. You need to get it troubleshot. Then from their they can either replace the problem. When most systems get just a bit low on freon they shut down. If the system (compressor were to run) it would destroy compressor. So your fan just blows warm air until recharged. Most systems change over easily. R134 is a lot cheeper then R-12. Make sure you get a good AC mechanic.

Recently I received an email stating if one is locked out they could use their cell phone and someone with key on other end to get in. The idea was to press the key button on the other end and door would unlock. I tried and it did not work, but it seems possible. I suspect its a frequency and the signal would go through the phone? Just something stupid and interesting..

umm.. What color smoke? How many miles? Do you let it get low often? Sounds like a cloged fuel filter. I am not an expert, but sometimes when you really look at an engine running when something is wrong you see minor things. I am not saying this smoke is not a big deal since I did not see it.
