  1. I think he wants bulbs, not kits. http://www.xtralights.com/index.asp?PageAc...CFRKIxwod91lWiQ
  2. The price doesn't sound bad. Probably could clean the throttle body while it's off.
  3. And IS owner's from the rest of the world aren't? Many aren't. They can't get the 350
  4. The battery from Amazon is $1.38 plus about $4 shipping, so just a bit over $5 total cost. I already practiced opening the key fob so when it comes I'll be ready to go.
  5. 25.5 hours the first day i drove to OK City which took about 10 hours. next day i drove 15.5 hours but i saved 2 hrs b/c of the time change so i was still able to arrive at around 9. BEST TRIP OF MY LIFE!!! INFACT, i'm actually looking for a house in vegas now haha i want to relocate. Thanks. I wondered since the distance would be about the same for me.
  6. We want to do it ourselves. I just ordered a battery from Amazon.
  7. Sure they can if you want to spend the money.
  8. Thanks for the help! and boy you guys are a tough crowd. ive never been part of a forum before, and ive only had my car for a week... and when i couldnt find the answer on the web, i figured i would ask some experts. im not too familiar with forums so sorry for posting if i shoulda searched first? i just read all the recent open topics and threads and when i couldnt find it there, i posted a new topic. but thanks again to everyone who responded. Stick around. You'll like it here. It's probably the most polite car board around.
  9. yeah you gotta open that little cover first and plug in that plastic thing that comes with the filter, and after you drain it, just unscrew the whole casing. In my guide, I forgot about it and opened the whole thing first which kind of made it messy - but it's not that bad. The IS350 filter doesn't come with the little hose and you don't open any drain. It only comes with the single large O ring. You just loosen the housing cap and tilt it a little to drain out the oil. http://my.is/forums/f139/how-change-oil-35...53/#post4014700
  10. Mine's three years old. I get a little notice from the dashboard once in a while that the battery is getting week. Reckon I should change it out. The slot to pry it open is in the recessed area you see after you take the steel key out of the fob. The fob comes apart in two halves and then snaps back together. There isnt any little door or anything for access.
  11. Techron is the good stuff. I run mostly Chevron and I've been know to pour a bottle in the tank once in awhile.
  12. If you know who it was file charges.
  13. Alright, thanks. I just don't know how I can get them to do it. Any other dealers nearby that you could try? Whichever dealer that does it is gonna get paid by Lexus for the parts and labor, so it's no skin off their nose.
  14. I don't think you can really tell by the sut in the tailpipe. Any car is gonna have that. Before you get into it too deeply though you should really check the PCV valve, and air cleaner and see if it's blowing oil. Internal problems could be bad crank bearings and/or worn out piston rings. That would seem unusual though at that mileage. Does the engine make any rattling noises when you push or let off the gas?
  15. I'm uploading the PDF's I have for the door assembly. This is all I have but it should help. 17.pdf 18.pdf 23.pdf
  16. Use vinyl cleaner. As for the armrest I'm just saying that it's leather and not to clean it with water. It needs leather cleaner and conditioner just like the seats do.
  17. If you removed the cats then yes that's causing the problem. The system is telling you exactly that, your cats not working or the sensor is missing.
  18. Checking the PVC valve is also a good idea. If it's bad you may see oil in the air filter box.
  19. The arm rests are leather. All the other trim is plastic. Get a Lexol interior care kit that has leather cleaner, leather dressing, and vinyl treatment.
  20. If you can't find a leak is there smoke coming from the exhaust?
