  1. A contractor I know is getting his truck wrapped. $1500
  2. There's already lots of info and discussion here if you wish to browse or use the search option.
  3. I can't find a post with pics but I did find a couple of threads with descriptions of how to adjust the level control arm. It's located just in front of the rear axle to the right of the left rear shock. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...&st=0 http://my.is/forums/f87/auto-leveling-head...ng-them-200496/ http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...level&st=10 Here's a post that links to pics of how the arm should not look and how it should look. http://my.is/forums/4251706-post9.html http://my.is/forums/4301278-post16.html
  4. After changing the engine oil (U.S.A. only) The oil change system should be reset. Perform the following procedures: Switch the display to the odometer (→P. 105) when the engine is running. Turn the engine switch OFF. While pressing the trip meter reset button, set the engine switch to the IG-ON mode (but do not start the engine because otherwise the reset mode will be cancelled). Continue to press and hold the button until the trip meter displays 000000. downloadOwnersManual.do.pdf
  5. The Xenon Depot bulb is not a D2R. It's a replacement bulb for one of their conversion kits. http://www.kbcarstuff.com/Philips_4300k_D2...p/pb-d2r-4k.htm would be the correct bulb for OEM replacement since it says it's D2R and it's 35 watts. The wattage is important. Replace that bulb and later on you can replace the other one to get a "like new" color match. I don't think there are separate left and right fuses so the easiest way to find your problem might be to swap left and right bulbs and see if the problem follows the bulb. If it does you know what to do.
  6. That bulb should work fine. Or you can look on Ebay for Philips bulbs at maybe a lower price. The bulb type is D2R. The new bulb will be whiter than your other side bulb cause they turn bluer with age so if you want a match you should replace both bulbs. The stock color temp is about 4300K
  7. I got the same reply by asking if they were for serious about the price.
  8. I think you just like writing "*BLEEP*"!!!!!! Hasn't Bleep discussed this before????? The rattles or the Bleep? IM TAKING IT TO THE DEALER TOMORROW. i mean hondas dont even rattle what a joke. Is there ANYTHING you LIKE about this car? *BLEEP*
  9. Lol....exactly! ;) well in a way the logic is simple. Basically the top brass said, sure we will give you more power. But you gotta pay for it. It is also a business theme. The cost to produce a IS350 is probably very close to the cost of producing an is250. After all, the work flow is the same you just drop a different engine into it. You still gotta pay the worker to drop one in there. But the IS350 can be sold for 4-5 grands more. It's not the cost of dropping the engine into the car, the 350 is different and more advanced than the 250 in many ways. Besides, historically we've always paid more for the bigger engine option on most every car.
  10. That's not the only light that stays on when something is engaged. Lexus decided the default was off so that's why it's off. They decided that trac default was on. They also decided there would be a light on the dash when the shifter was in S mode and it does. Default for headlights is off, so there's a light on the dash when the lights are on. And so on.
  11. Back in the day somebody used to pull into Bob Evans drive in with one of those air suspension Citroens. When they parked it would squat in the back first and then the front. We always said it looked like it was squatting to take a dump.
  12. I bought a Mercury Marquis at a really good price during the 70's gas crunch. I actually sold it at a profit 2 years later when the problems subsided.
  13. I think you just like writing "*BLEEP*"!!!!!! Hasn't Bleep discussed this before????? The rattles or the Bleep?
  14. Sorry, but I couldn't resist.
  15. I don't have the slightest idea what you are talking about, it could be one of there things #1 I don't have enough knowledge about Lexus to understand your question. or #2 Maybe you folks in the UK have different ways to describe things that we yanks don't understand. or #3 Maybe you are having trouble putting your question into a form that we can understand and maybe a friend can help you rephrase the question #4 Maybe it's a matter of perception. Perhaps you can have a friend read and interpret for you. It appears he's asking if the motor parts for the Mk2 and Mk3 LS400 are the same.
  16. Have you read through the other threads pertaining to rattles, Mr *BLEEP*hen7 ?
  17. I haven't seen anything on those coilovers. I don't think many 2nd gen IS have been setup with colovers. Some have the Eibach type springs, but that's all I know of.
  18. I had one of those deer whistle things on the front bumper of my Firebird. Some people thought it was some kind of little remote gun.
  19. The rain sensor is listed as a separate part and sells for about $260 - 280 online.
