  1. Just ask them to read your OBD codes. Then if you need to see what the codes mean come back here and post them and ask.
  2. Uh, yeah that works. Juts like it says numerous times in this and other threads. :D
  3. why? because he kept it in control where as the average driver would be all over the place hitting *BLEEP*? ← Amend that to dangerous and stupid.
  4. What's the name of the dealer?
  5. That looks like a typical "waxmaster" orbital buffer. With clean terry pads, that's fine to use to apply and remove wax.
  6. Philips has a higher K bulb that will match a nomally aged bulb in color.
  7. Damn. Forbes says Lexus is now selling more SUV's than sedans. Are they rushing production or something? They are really hurting themselves from what I read here.
  8. Go to a parts store or garage that will read the codes, get the code numbers and report back here. That's about the only way to tell.
  9. First time you hit cow or a kid on a 4 wheeler on one of those back roads, maybe you'll think twice about it.
  10. http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/toyota/celsior/
  11. Black = Ground Red = Positive. You can clean the terminals and wire end and then there is stuff you can buy at NAPA to spray on all this to prevent further oxidation.
  12. Yech! Where do they get these names?
  13. It seems so. But if you live in a really cold climate, other things could happen to your brass monkey.
  14. Works great for cleaning brass monkeys. :D
  15. http://home.earthlink.net/~sc300tt3/SW-SC300T.wmvWhy go 350 when you can have this. ← because id rather have this: http://servinitup.com/videos/240z.mpeg darius 240z > any sc300 hell, id even take this mr2 over that sc: http://www.racingstrong.com/video/mr2v8-1.mpg northstar mr2 :D ← The car may be ok but the driver in the first one is dangerous.
  16. Oh, I could have sworn I saw LX 470 on your profile. :) Anyway, there is a speed sensor involved in the power steering that needs to be checked out. Not sure exactly how that works. Wandering could be due to alignment or worn parts in the steering assembly. It sounds like you need to get that entire front end checked out. If we knew the year, maybe could find if there are any TSB's on that particular model.
  17. It was the Ebay kit that was mentioned.
  18. Getting out of your sedan into a SUV can be fun, but it can also get tiresom really fast. I guess it all depends on the value of utility over comfort.
  19. Changes valving and hydraulic pressure for firmer shifts.
  20. MotorVac sounds like some sort of gimmick. I dunno if I would trust the Jiffy Lube guys to hook up and flush and do all that stuff to my Lexus.
  21. Or a Doge Colt. Just showing the irony of a ridiculous looking wing.
