are you aware of your local laws against this? It's one BIG fine if you're caught with them on. Try ebay and search for LED's. They have some that change colors with the press of a button etc, for around $100

My first rx330 i got with the tan interior because i thought the grey was awful. 2 years later when i got my rx350, i suddenly loved the grey interior and hated the tan. I just don't like the light colored wood that comes with the tan. I wish i could get the tan interior with the dark red/brown wood.

I guess they figure AWD owners are in winter conditions more often and would need warmer seats... To be honest, i don't use the voice commands. I thought i had the bluetooth figured out, but i can't get it to work anymore. I've given up with all this tech stuff with the lexus.

Is your Rx330 All Wheel Drive or Front Wheel Drive? Usually the headed seats come on AWD not FWD.

I second that, about the focus. They are pretty bad IMO as far as looks go.

If you're talking about the fronts of the mirros with all the caked on bugs etc, i use bug and tar temover. I just spray it on when it's dry, let it soak a few minutes then spray off. Works great! For the glass mirror itself, i just use car soap. For some reason i find it cleans very easiely.

Dodge Neon, Honda Element, Pontiac Aztec, Toyota Echo.... just my opinion, but these cars need more than a facial.

Have you thought about running a wire up the pillar under the roof liner, all from the cigarette lighter? It's really easy to pull the cigarette lighter plug out. Get some really thin wire and run it unde the pillar (b/t the pillar and glass) and under the roof liner (b/t the liner and glass) to where you want it. It's only hot in acc. or when the car's on. This is what i did for all my radar detectors to find power.

i think any vehicle just as long as it's not rear wheel drive will "get you where you need to go" in stormy weather (just as long as it's not up huge hills etc.). The Gs430 and Ls430 are AWFUL in the snow (from personal experience). The Es330 was better in the snow than these! The Rx300/330/350 are fine in snowy conditions, just make sure you have good tread on the tires... Unless you have to climb a mountain, you won't have a problem getting to work... The only problem you'll have is stopping; but it's like that with any car.

i guess it's just personal taste; everyone sees beauty in different things. It's just my opinion that this thing's ugly. I just can't believe anyone would buy one; with Ford's poor reliability history etc.

GooGone will be fine for that. You need to scrub to get the pen out though; it may take a while.

i'm sorry, but the new Taurus is just plain UGLY to me. It's so disproportunate! The rear 1/4 glass is absolutely hideous, along with the over-sized tires, rims, headlights and grill. It's like they haven't progressed from the 1989 taurus', which the front of this one kind of looks like! It honestly upsets me that i have to see these things on the road.

I just found out the color neptune blue mica (dark blue) will no longer be availavle for the Rx's!? I am NOT happy. I guess my next suv won't be the Rx. I hate the lexus colors.

The rx330/rx350 works very well in the snow. Ive never had a problem!

Just google-image the 2008 ford taurus... It's one of the ugliest 4D vehicles i have EVER seen. Are the ford engineers/designers on crack? I have no sympathy for ford's low sales with the crap they come out with. I have never been in/driven the new taurus, but just the looks offend me. This is just my opinion* What are your thoughts?

If using the brush with thinker layers, after shaking the bottle before use doesn't work, you may want to ask your dealer why the color is so off. It could just be a bad bottle :cries:

Tap directly off of the cigarette lighter plug (easiest way to find hot in acc, and ground- by just pulling out the metal cyl.) and run thin wires up the pillar and under the roof liner. You can squeeze the wire to make it hidden. That's what i would suggest.

Don't use the "pen" function of the bottle. Use the brush and try applying a slightly thicker coat of the paint. Just let it dry more between coats.

If it's just "dusty", gently swipe with a clean microfiber towel, making sure not to press to hard for it will scratch. If there are spots on the glass, dampen the microfiber and do the same thing. Just MAKE SURE not to press in too much. That plastic scratches very easiely.

It really works! I recently found that superglue works better than the clear paint because it dries faster and harder. It also works better if you take the steering wheel off, to machine it instead of using your hands. Takes a couple of days to do. I'd let the glue dry a full day in the sun, and overnight before i'd sand and buff. This really does work very well, though!

Anyone know if the upcoming Rx's will have the smart key function? It bothers me that the Es, and even the Is, have it, but not the Rx.
