I have a 07 IS350 with 38K miles now, no problems. Plenty of recalls but those are fixed for free by my Lexus dealership at no charge (plus a free car wash and fillup). Front brake dust problem was handled for free under warranty per TSIB. The OEM low dust replacement pads installed by Lexus drastically reduced dust and I would recommend going with those pads. -

I have a common Mercedes model, no big deal. Still prefer the power of the Lexus 3.5L in IS.

Sorry to hear about loss of life. I was in Vancouver 6 years ago and enjoyed the visit. I was warned by hotel desk clerk about thefts from cars being frequent if not careful.

TSIB for AC drain under car applies to the 2007 IS's. Good thing it got fixed under warranty. -
