Replacing A Rear Bearing Hub Assembly On A 2004 Lexus Rx330
lenore replied to nelks's topic in 99 - 03 Lexus RX300
The black cover one is for FWD cars....AWD (all wheel drive) cars dont have black cover... -
Pay attention to tree location also, they will not only affect the debris but also how warm the water gets....Go for the sunlight, it really does make a difference....

Never heard of it, however unhooking the battery for 10minutes and connecting will start the reset the computer. When You had a tuneup what type of plugs, did you use...Hopefully the original equipment either NGK or Denso iridium. Please not that summer blend gas generally gets worse mileage, (more for polution less for performance) Other things are the cleaning of the Idle air control valve, replacing the PVC valve, using a good quality fuel performance synthetic oil. Tire pressure and type of tires can also affect mileage as well as a clean air filter. Good luck

sorry to see the old bottle dumps, and canal that washington built go away. I was last there in 2004....condo's like crazy on the land that used to be forest. Just shows too much growth in government. Average wage over $121k per year while the private sector average is only $66k....Government has grown 15% probably all in the beltway area.

I love Loudin County by the way spent many years there getting training at the Old Xerox Training center. Walked all of those old woods and learned a lot of history of the area. (Leesburg)....Lots of nice two lane roads to practice on also.....

Oh man that would be an interesting party, Paul an SW would probably do a Jimmy Hoffa on me. (Just kidding) Hey they could watch the technique of a right wing, religous, gun owning conservative actually work. Man I need a job right now, the family has me fixing everything for them, they think I am retired and my price is right (free)....I hope you arent in hard soil country, hand digging those last shapes could be difficult for this old man. I am sure Paul and SW would love to have a pool party....

Well enjoy, when getting the vinyl liner, go for the upgraded version, as it will hold up better against the elements. I know in this neck of the woods they generally use a steel wall and support system for the walls, my buddy helped with mine and said never again, had a vinyl pool put in. Mine is struturally so sound that it could be plastered with no problem. I like the vinyl as it has always been easy to clean. Soil in my area is usually clay so it is quite stable. If you have any artesian sands in your hole you might have some water under the liner, but as long as it is full the problem doesnt happen. Best $5500 I ever sweat equity performed. As for improving the price of the house not really that much. Again have fun when it is done. by the way dont shoot the dog, just teach it where the steps are....my daughter was visiting and poor dog didnt do her homework before she decided to take a dip.

Dont do like me, I built my own....lots of work and lots of hard times with City for home owner doing it themselves...Best thing ever for kids...I built a Sunland pool, basically concrete block, with pool base agregate bottom and a liner. The walls were mounted on a 22inch by 18 inch foundation with rebar. Strong enough for a bomb shelter. Did this 22 years ago and still enjoying it with my 9 grandbabies...Decking and pool for $5500 back then. The decking is rainbow agregate hand seeded into concrete. Very pretty and has held up great. Water temp today 90 degrees...Oh man is it nice. Have been through 3 liners in the 22 years. The walls are covered with foam so the sides are even soft. I was a crazy man many years ago doing this project. Did everything except dig the hole. All electrical, plumbing, concrete, and I designed it. Mine is a lap pool 10 feet by 33 feet. kids love it and they can do anything in it that make them happy. The liner is custom made for my pool and has been quite durable except for my daughters lab that paniced and ripped the side. Repaired it until the next liner...Still love the lab......

2000 Rx300 Timing Belt Replacement (Possibly Not Done)
lenore replied to teamgracey's topic in 99 - 03 Lexus RX300
I would pull the top cover on belt and verify for yourself. If it is cracked than approach Lexus dealership. If not, than your mechanic is trying to send his kids to college on your dime. -
There is also Sewell Lexus.com and if you join Club Lexus they give you a discount. PartsGeek.com also for mechanical parts. Great list above, have used most of them.

Quite frankly its funny how both parties will say and do anything to grab the wills of the voters, however the Democrat party is extremely guilty of being the party of compassion giving the poor, and non working folks money to keep them subjects of the government. It is no more than slavery when generations live on Government welware without breaking the bonds and becoming self sufficent. It disppairs me to think we worked so hard in our past to break the bonds only to create a whole new sytem that basically puts folks back in poverty forever. I am compassionate also, but feel there are better ways to bring people to success. We never learn, we did it to the Indians with Reservations, and their conditions went down the drain. Sad they are breaking free with Casino's and the wealth they create, but not exactly what I would agree with as there is a lot of corruption and fraud associated with this move. Groups that go in and effectively buy votes by registering the poor and welfare folks with promises of free everything should be ashamed.

this little fact of information pretty much sums it up.... Subject: Scary Obituary Scary Obituary In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior: "A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship." "The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to complacency; From complacency to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage." The Obituary follows: Born 1776, Died 2012 Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the last Presidential election: Number of States won by: Obama: 19 McCain: 29 Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 McCain: 2,427,000 Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million McCain: 143 million Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 McCain: 2.1 Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country. Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..." Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase. If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegal's - and they vote - then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

So you still believe government can fix social issues....???? Where has that ever happened. All they have done is prolong the misery for the masses making them dependent on the dole and living a life of poverty....

real world, all of those programs are abused. We give illegals free college tuition, and I have seen and read of the wonderful abuses that happen when we have done training programs to lift folks up, only to find them back on the streets because their original problem (drug addiction etc) was not monitored. Government creates programs that they never monitor, and it creates classes of folks that work the system to do nothing. Your idea of rational discussion doesnt always follow the real world, blue collar common sense world. Everyone in this nation is not ivy league educated and living in a world of theories that have been proposed and tried and failed. We average folks live pay check to pay check and respect hard work, with the satisfaction of knowing that pride comes in what you complete. It is my belief that when family values and hard work come back to this nation that many of our problems in society will be reduced. There are too many that have come up with these crazy think tank solutions that seem to only perpetuate the decay of our nation.
