Actually, i havetn figured it out, but i have noticed ALOT of silver cars different shades of grey, ahve bumpers that dont exactly match. I think it has to do with the fact that the paint interacts with certian agents of the plastic, or it has to do with how it adheres to metal vs plastic, im not sure. but i know my car has it, and duffany's (the people who painted my chipgaurd) said even a repaint of the bumper wont match. for the reasons stated above. only happens with silver's or grays. sometimes gold too.

Absolultely its possible. Get a wheel from a junkyard: $50 or so, off another Gen I. Send it to American Stitches. For $400, You can have a wood steering wheel that matches your interior perfectly. or, use the old wheel as a temp replacement, and pull your current one off and send it in if it doesnt match. because IIRC, the Lexus OEM wheel is like $800. You could also retrofit a later model wheel, BUT, your features like auto tilt and other things wont work. plus i believe the cruise is on the wheel on 98+ models.

you guys have to see my tools. they put jasons to shame. i have a full nascar bench at work with Snap-On/Mac/Craftsman/husky tools. Mostly Snap on. my profession requires me to have everything imaginable. the army issues you ONE set of tools your entire career. and its worth almost $10,000. it goes wherever you go.
