  1. JB-Weld.
  2. Right here. I'm running 225/60/16 on my 91LS. It fills in the gap real good without any rub.
  3. Your tensioner didn't come pre-compressed? Removing wires isn't really necessary...just loosen the distributor caps and flop them out of the way. Are you refering to the 2 hidden 12mm bolts on the side of the fan bracket?
  4. If you're going to replace the wires you might as well do the cap and rotors because they should be visible at that time. It really isn't that much more work...maybe an extra 5-10 minutes.
  5. Recommended change interval is 90k miles or 7 years...whichever comes first. It's not that you have to change the WP along with the TB but it would wise to. It's not fun having to tear everything apart a second time, like say 10k miles after you replaced the timing belt, just to replace the WP that you could of knocked off the first time around. Hey jadecuir, what's wrong with my tutorial? I'm sorry if I left something out but you have to understand this...it ain't easy doing a TB while taking pics of EVERY single step.
  6. Pop the trunk and remove the black plastic cover that is now directly in front of you...then pull the bulbs out. If you removed the correct cover you shouldn't have to guess where the bulbs sit...it should be visible. Good luck.
  7. If you like sound quality then go with a sealed enclosure....if you're into hard hitting low frequencies then go with a ported enclosure. But this all depends on which sub you are planning on going with too.
  8. Sounds like your idle air control valve (IACV) is shot.
  9. It's been sitting there and was perfect before your vacation, but for you to be able to determine that there was a problem, you had to start the car right? A bad timing belt tensioner could lead to a timing belt skipping or tooth. I'm not saying that this is your situation but there's always that chance. Hey Army, how are you SO sure his cats are gone? Even if he has what you call the "china cat" syndrome, don't you think it's important that he figures out why his car is running so rich that it overheated his cats? It would be a bttch to burn up new cats.
  10. Yeah, probally your idle air control valve. Your idle is steady once you put it into gear right?
  11. Maybe your timing belt skipped a tooth. I had the exact same symptoms when I did my timing belt...I pulled off the belt, realigned it and cussed the whole time. Not sure how slow your car accelerates but with mines, I floored it and it barely crawled. Is it driveable? I doubt cats are clogged but you could try pulling them off to see if you regain power. Caps and rotors is definitely what you should take a look at first.
  12. You've been doing car audio since you were 7 years old sergioon20?
  13. Mobil-1 will be just fine. An '02 GS is a fairly new car...you don't have to worry about it leaking with the switch.
  14. What's a sub silencer? Do you have any pictures of it?
  15. Glad to see you found your problem. Try Taprecyling.com for a used bracket.
  16. It's not a lean misfire...look at the NOx readings at high speed. It looks like that car needs a new cat.
  17. You just have to sort of "wiggle" it out...3 bolts should be all.
  18. It sure would be possible...heck, some guy even has a rear wheel drive Honda Civic. It all comes down to how much you are willing to spend or how much work you are willing to put out. I think $2500 is too much for a 91 LS with a blown motor.
  19. Next time just wrap a small bag around the fuel line and tie it up with a rubberband. You can't really see through the filter to tell if there's gunk in it. To check it, just blow some air through one end...if it's not clogged then you should be able to feel air coming out of the other end.
  20. Sooo...no pics = no turbo?
  21. That car looks very familiar...hey that's my car...haha. Anyways, go to step 33, once you remove the fan clutch it looks like that...it's the fan bracket. You have the serpentine belt off and the fan clutch still doesn't spin? Replace the fan clutch...they seize up sometimes.
  22. Go look at my tutorials.
  23. Umm, okay? So I posted a bunch of tutorials of someone else's car? Your points are weak because I'm weak minded? Cmon now, where's your 15 years of experience at? Take a pic of your FI...I don't believe you're true to your name.
  24. Nah, I'd rather work for JL...can I?!? For all I know you could be bullshtin me about your 15 years of experience...seems more like 15 days. If you've been paid "quite well" for doing this for the past 15 years, howcome you don't have your own shop yet buddy? Cause I know it all? I'm not the one running my mouth about this guy and that guy and blah blah blah. You're just sitting around cutting and pasting info from different sites. There's no need to write whole essays when you respond...just don't toss around crappy knowledge. Hole, slot...whatever you want to call it. You had a hard time understanding that the enclosure isn't a sealed enclosure so I had to explain it to you. This is like the other run we had about 4" and 6 1/2" speakers...you have weak points. Can you stop talking about this guy and that guy?...I don't swing that way bro.
  25. Timing belt or serp belt? The serpentine belt doesn't touch the water pump.
