Hoping, waiting for the new 2022 NX450+. New to the brand and interested in learning and sharing from others here.

I worked on my 1992 Lexus ES300 yesterday after reading this post. I investigated the possible spark issue first since it seemed the easiest to verify and I got lucky. I did a round robin with the spark plug wires and disconnected each one at a time until I reached one that upon removing it did not change the idle status. Good spark coming from the distributor but wasn't firing at the head. I pulled the boot and found what had to be a manufacturing defect with the hard plastic insulator. The spark was firing prematurely through a pin hole or crack to the port tube. Of course this means that the spark never reached the combustion chamber which resulted in a dead cylinder. This happened approximately one month after a tune up. The effect was exactly as described in previous post. Shaking at idle and slowly going away as RPM's increase. Loss of power but drivable. However I did not have a check engine light. Perhaps my bulb is also blown. Hope this helps

We have just purchased a 2017 NX 300 T FWD and we’re hoping we could tow on a swivel type car dolly but are getting mixed advice as well. Did you ever try towing your SUV and if so what was your outcome and process for doing so. (How do you disable electronic/automatic emergency brake for example) Your input is most appreciated as we are baffled!

The other day I was in Harbor Freight and saw they have sheets of 1000 and 1200 grit sand paper. Now with a 3m kit the 1000 grit disk is good for about 2-3 headlights. If you have 4 of those sheets of 1000 grit you could ensure your 3000 grit disk can be effective on all 4 lenses. They are with the sanding tools there. I wanna say 4 sheets was $7.99 but not sure. I was in there for a watch back press.

I have used metal wheel polish, and it works fine if the lights are not too bad. The 3M Headlight Restore for me worked the best so far.

New lenses will always look better than a polishing job. However, you may want to research what is required to replace yours. Some swap efforts are not very easy. I used a Meguiar's headlight lens polishing kit. To me it had the right "ingredients".
