MrLexo Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 We just go these pieces in last week. They're direct replicas of the Toyota Japan JDM wind deflectors. These pieces are very durable, made of hard plastic. They are held on by 3m adhesive and is easy to install. Here's some pictures:
texsn95 Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 Hmmm, I get some wind noise at 70+ on from the driver door, is that a common problem with these cars?
Sadistic Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 Nice, how much do you guys want for those? I need to order some.
LuxuryMods Posted July 28, 2005 Posted July 28, 2005 Nice, how much do you guys want for those? I need to order some. ← We have them on special at the dealer section: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...showtopic=22551.
DomLee Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 Is the one pictured...a genuine "Toyota" piece? I'm assuming that the product that we actually receive, does not say "Toyota" on it.

SKperformance Posted July 29, 2005 Posted July 29, 2005 The first and second pic shows the plastic with the toyota script right on them. I know the visors for my ES300 have toyota right on them the box it came in and the instructions. It was also in Japanese

LuxuryMods Posted August 2, 2005 Posted August 2, 2005 Here's some updated pictures of our windguards installed on a customer's car:
DomLee Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 I'm not a fan of the "Toyota" logo on there. Would rather take it off. Hmm...how is the Toyota logo stuck onto the plastic? Is it silkscreened on there some how? Does/will it come off if I scraped the letters w/ say...my fingernail?
Sadistic Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 From the picture of just the logo, it looks like an paint stamp. So it's probably possible to get it off, but I'm sure you would scratch the plastic. Although, I really don't know. I've never seen one in person.

You wouldn't be able to remove it without scratching the plastic.
