haha! Well I don't want to insult her a little, but she does admit (and I agree) that she is a little immature for her age! She's 26 already! ayyy! She just came from a 4 year relationship but was having religion problems with the guy, so that's the reason for their break. she doesnt mind being not married for some time, because no one really knows who that special someone really is for her! Hey i'm not saying IM that someone, but we'll see. :) Someone told me that age is just a number, and that if both people like each other, that this shouldn't stop them. So what do you think??? :blushing:

Jay (Indiasfinest) That's the same exact setup over here in the Philippines! The horn is the "side mirror" over here. People just change lanes whenever they want, without looking at their blindspots. They presume if there's a car in their blindspot, you will honk at them, and they won't make the lane change. It's so annoying but you get used to it after awhile. Nobody uses the lanes over here also (as I already mentioned) and people love driving with their high beams on at night. What also gets on my nerves are the people who think IM driving with my high beams on! They flash at me thinking I have my high beams on, to get a surprise flash back from me that I have HIGHER beams if they want. It's really ridiculous! Plus not to mention people who want to "save" on battery and don't use their headlights at certain places at night. A lot drive with their park lights only if the area is well lighted! <_< Really dangerous! I mean I will accept those people who just drive with their fog lamps on but w/o their headlights on, but just park lights, that bugs the heck out of me! It makes driving more difficult at night, not to mention that everyone's got tint on their cars so it's a real challenge on rainy night to drive! I don't know if any of you really experienced this, but I've gotten used to driving around with about an inch away from the other cars! Since no one follows the rules, they drive where ever they want, and they presume you have to just squeeze your way thru the small space! I'm surprised I've gotten used to that life right away because I drive pretty big vehicles and I would presume it must feel 10x easier to squeeze a Honda Civic around than an Isuzu Trooper. lol.. :wacko:

haha. it's cool. During the time I replied to this thread, I was totally stressed about these major tests I had, so I wasn't in the positive state of mind to reply. But it's really difficult to take pictures of all angles of the vehicles because I'm gonna look weird taking random pictures of the front and back of all these cars. lol.. I might search them online and post them on here. Just let me finish my last test, and I'll have freedom for the next 2 (or 3 i hope) weeks of xmas break!

Diesels are waaay too popular over here. A lot of cars here have a diesel version. 5 series, X5, The Innova, Hilux, MY TROOPER (lol), Fortuner, name it! But so far, it's Toyota that never ceases to amaze me. Of all diesel powered vehicles over here, only Toyota has vehicles that produce NO BLACK SMOKE at all, after any kind of abuse! I swear, I still have to see the day that I see a Fortuner or Innova puffin black smoke out of it's pipe. hehe

It's soo interesting to hear the road rage stories you guys just posted. But let me ask you guys something, have any of you ever visited the Philippines? Cuz I remember before I relocated here, I easily got mad at some of the circumstances mentioned here. Now I've literally disciplined myself to control my road rage because here, NO ONE FOLLOWS THE RULES! Ex. 1. you've got drivers making right turns, but they overtake on the left lane.. 2. you've got drivers that can't wait in the lane, so they over take on the oncoming lane, and sneak their car in front of you (THAT I never let them cut because they cheated!) 3. Driver's don't drive in their lane! They don't even know that the lines on the road MEANS it's a lane! 4. Tailing the last moments of the yellow light... Causes a big traffic jam.. Usually at night, if they do that, I just turn my brights on them and honk a few times and bridge the gap between my car and theirs (because here there aren't too many SUVs but I drive a big Trooper or the CRV so they get scared sometimes by the big size of my car lol)... 5. You've got dumb drivers that just randomly step on their brakes for no reason! I swear! It happens to me, that the car in front of me is slightly on his brakes, even though there's no car or danger in from of them! Idiot! 6. On some streets, there are small parking lots in front of stores or whatever, right? Some drivers over take there and try to cut, but if they try to cut in front of me, I NEVER let them cut unless they have the nose of their car in front of me already.. 7. Making a left turn? But there's traffic before the stoplight? Some drivers will use the oncoming lane with their left turn signal and speed their way to the stoplight and turn left... annoyance to the people who deserve that oncoming lane 8. At night, impatient drivers keep flashing their brights at you (if they are in a hurry and have no where to over take) meaning move to the side cuz the "vip" is in a hurry... The more they do that, the more i slow down... :P 9. People change lanes a lot, even when the car in that lane is pretty close to them, BUT they won't use their turn signals! I usually honk at them, or at night flash my brights at them (now you guys can just imagine how I drive! lol... I can't even imagine myself driving in America anymore! :whistles: ) Those are just a few examples. Now if I list every single event that can cause you road rage over here, it would take me more than an hour (literally) to type all of them and explain! lol... This is one reason why I kinda love driving a big SUV in a crowded country. Yes that sounds really ironic, because the more crowded it is, the smaller the car should be right? Wrong! Bigger vehicles tend to be able to move anywhere they want because they always bully their big size in and out of traffic! lol.. A lot of my new friends here are amazed at how I can drive the Trooper in such cramped traffic, but it's just a natural thing to me now lol.. Although driving a smaller vehicle is better, don't get me wrong (I drove my friend's 07 Civic a few times, and it was a new driving experience for me lol since all my cars at home are SUVs/Trucks) but sometimes the bigger vehicles can force their way into traffic, and the smaller vehicles tend to get scared IN CASE of an accident lol.. :P Side mirror touching?? ALMOST! lol See, they don't know that a lane exists!

AMEN!!! We buy in baby steps - gift cards at the grocery store, internet, odd times, etc. Den - there were good deals yesterday, but nothing good enough to get me any where near the stores! really? lol.. I wouldn't know cuz I dont have a newspaper over here of the thanksgiving sales lol.. So did everyone have a great Thanksgiving though??? :rolleyes:

Funny, I thought black friday shopping was the worst, try shopping over here in the Philippines during the holidays, there's barely any room to move around these gigantic malls! lol.. So any good buys from the day after Thanksgiving sale??? :whistles:

Wait, I'm not really familiar with the bushing difference between the 4Runner and GX470, but you are saying that you are kinda experiencing the clunk?? Is your 4Runner a V8 4wd?? Cuz it SHOULDNT happen if it's a V6 2 or 4wd, nor to a V8 2WD.. So far when I left Fresno, my GX didn't feel any signs of disconnect between the front and rear, and that's a 50k miles GX. Idk about other GX owners that have gone waaay past me in mileage, but that was my observation with mine. ;)

Rear looks like a combination of the FX and Santa Fe. Front is a mixture of the M45 and the new G35/37. Interior is totally Infiniti.. So how deep of a scratch can this new paint repaint itself? I didnt know that the Xtrail had this technology although it did metion that it was only available in Japan so the Xtrails here in the Philippines probably dont have the new paint technology. <_<

Ok I FINALLY start my first college day of my life, and my first friend i make is a girl! haha.. Funny thing though, classes were cut short, so WE left early to go buy books at the book stores (school didnt have any stock at the time) and ya.. lol.. Nahhh... Not what you guys are thinking haha.. :) But she did mention in my car that "Wow, we just met and became friends today, and look i'm already in your car going around" haha.. Ok ok... for the curious georges out there, here's a pic of that OTHER girl, the non-school girl i had my liking towards..
