  1. Glad I was able to help! ;) Just call me Den or Denny :D And last but not least, here's a link to Sylvania's bulb guide, it doesn't have any LED bulbs but it gives you an idea about the bulb sizes of ANY car for future reference, but I'm not sure if it has the bulb size for the dash lights and A/C controls though... http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/A...eplacementGuide
  2. The blue coated halogen bulbs were an experiment.... Just wanted to prove to myself that they're crap.... Well my friend with that red 4Runner told me to get them off of superbrightleds.com and that's where HE saw that there's an option for 6 bulbs and 12 bulbs, but he believes that it'll be impossible to make the 12 bulbs fit cuz that'll be a little too big for the space given MAYBE....
  3. :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot: lol :P
  4. Hey you never know! I mean come on, my ridiculous prom thread is up to 9 pages now... But I never expected the thread that Rya made got up to 4 pages! So you never really know if this topic could expand even more than what you expect. ;)
  5. Ok pictures are kinda bad, but this is how the 4 bulb LEDs look like (so just imagine the single bulb!) The stock ones actually light up more area than the LEDs! The difference
  6. Ok guys, I've started and moved the LED posts to a separate post in the "Lexus Modifications Forum" so go look for it there. Sorry Jay for hijacking your thread! Now we can get back to the original topic of this thread. ;)
  7. Here we go and i'll consolidate the posts so we can keep that other topic as a Lancer thread. ;)
  8. Glad it worked out for you and you didnt have to go thru all the hassle over these years. Took Toyota a loong time to figure it out, but once they did, it was well worth it. ;)
  9. Nope, Well I think it's just perfect, like in the IS250/350 and the LS and GS.. See I havent seen a single LED blue bulb on a plate light so I have noooo idea if one's bright enough... But I tried some blue coated regular bulbs, and they are HORRIBLE (well obviously cuz it's not LED) but yea for those who are thinking about it, think twice.......
  10. Ok Jay. Yea they decided, cuz the guy was going into college to become a mechanic, to let HIM repair his old 1963 Ford Fairlane that totally needs a lot of repairs, so Xzibit got him a brand new 2005 4Runner. But I do remember, wasnt there an episode that they got the client a brand new XB?? smooth1, are your LED bulbs the single bulbs, or the 4 bulb ones?? Because it does make a difference and the guy with the red 4Runner (if you guys have seen my 4runner photoshoot pix) has the 4 LED 194 bulb for his plate lights... looks really nice and clean at night! I actually saw an 06 Sienna CE that had the 4 LED bulb lights and I was just droooooooling over them... :chairshot: :chairshot: The single LED bulbs look nice, but I heard that they aren't as bright as the 4 bulb ones (obviously) but honestly I don't know how much of a difference they make... Cuz I know there are options for 1 bulb, 4 bulbs, 6 bulbs, and even 12 bulbs I think!
  11. smooth1, I like your setup! Clean and stock looking! Yea india, they put a lot of crap into the cars. I mean come on, it was a BRAND NEW 4Runner, and they did all that! It had a nice ivory leather, but those idiots changed it to black leather with green inserts.. That's why when the owner sold that 4Runner on ebay, the highest bid was only $12k! Sad sad sad, and it only had about 35k miles when he sold it. The tv under the car, in the spare tire was missing, some functions of the computer system wasnt working.. When West Coast changed the rims, they forgot to put the tire sensors back on so the tire pressure warning light has always been on.... I mean, they practically ruined a nice brand new 4Runner! but nevertheless, that's why I try to stay stock as much as possible even though I want to change up my car a bit. Like I installed the DRLs, homelink console they're "not from factory" technically but they could have been and they're the nice little stuffs that I wanted so I installed them. My next project, if I decide to go on with it, is buy some blue LED bulbs for the plate lights like in the IS250/350s now, yes it's kinda obvious it's not stock but they look nice, are bright, and could pass to be stock... :whistles:
  12. I kinda like your taste, keep it original. I was just watching on Comcast ON DEMAND the episode of Pimp My Ride with the brand new 05 4Runner, they put sooo much crap in it, but I do have to admit I LOVE the Nav/Computer system they installed in the center dash, installed in a clean and almost original way, except the fact that they changed the silver trim on the dash to green...
  13. Ok Josh, I don't want to put your hopes down, but I've got some questions. First of all, this question may sound really stupid, but when the body shop and insurance had the Matrix repaired, are you sure the insurance approved the "right" repair, or the quick cheap repair? I don't know how to explain this but I'll give you an example I had.... Back in 2002, our RX300 got rear ended. The insurance was a real PITA... It wasnt our fault, yet our insurance still gave us a hard time. Now there was one issue that the body shop and my insurance had a dispute about, and it was the muffler system. My insurance wanted to straighten the thing out, body shop recommended replacement. Now since my insurance will be re-imbursed in the end by the other guy's insurance, I'm wondering why they wouldn't approve of the replacement? My body shop mentions that it WILL VOID the Lexus warranty on the exhaust and that the only way to keep the warranty in effect was to replace the thing. Insurance, being a real a$$, insisted on straightening out the thing, and then replace it. Ok we'll see.. My body shop was literally on my side, and what we decided was to do what they wanted and w/o a doubt have the technician DISAPPROVE the repair, then that's when the insurance budged in... So in other words, I'm hoping that the insurance and body shop did all the correct repairs, that WOULDNT void your warranty, like in our situation with our RX. I know you mentioned that's the only Toyota dealer in town, but I'm guessing you should go try another dealership to see what they'll say.
  14. haha. Ok thanks guys.. Funny we're jumping back and forth between my two threads. lol
  15. There have been some issues in the GX, but all of them so far have a fix to them.. ;) So good luck with your GX search and you will enjoy this vehicle if you decide to buy one. :)
  16. How about Acetone? I dont know if it may harm the windshield, but I know that stuff really takes out literally ANYTHING...
  17. :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot:
  18. haha, ok guys ok you got me.. I am currently enjoying my summer vacation, don't worry! She's not getting in my way, honestly! Want a little scoop into what I've been doing? Well let's just say, when my friend gets a loaner C230 when his mom's car's in the shop, we take the loaner out, and kinda do some burnouts with them. :whistles: :whistles: (in a quiet, away from the crowd street obviously lol)... Otherwise, everything me and my friends do are legal, trust me. ;) Sometimes I feel bad doing the burnouts with the C230s, cuz the two C230s we did burnouts with, one had only 600 miles on it, the other had 1,000 miles on it. :o :o lol.. But no worries... I've seen other people that do WORSE than that, driving the loaners offroad and whatnots, and we didnt do that. :D And branshew, I just realized today that this topic is up to page 3, which I didnt quite expect! lol.. So what is it, 8 pages from the prom thread, and 3 pages of this, total of 11 pages!!!!!!
  19. Haha, Thanks. Well I kinda want school to start NOW really. lol.. :whistles: Moving on (kinda) <_<
  20. I hope so.. I was talking to my friend last nite, and he tells me that he's got a gut feeling (and he says that MOST of his gut feelings are correct) that someday she'll realize that tim's not a good guy, and that she'd end up with me, but eh, still remains to be seen..... <_<
  21. I know. You just figured out that this whole thing was a complicated situation! lol lol.. jk jk ;) But wow, my theory of "If i plan something with her, usually it will NEVER push thru" still is in effect. She txts back and says that she got stitches, that she cant play, and that she's got a job interview at 6pm! Ayyy! :chairshot: :chairshot: But i told her if she wasnt doing anything to let me know, she said she would, but idk! Damnit! Just when I have NOTHING to do, parents arent home, and im free to do whatever, she aint available! grrrr!!!!!!!! :chairshot: :chairshot:
  22. I GUESS she probably "loves" that fool, idk! :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot:
  23. Ok guys, i'm currently txting her as i type this... lol... What should I pick! Ok tonite parents are gonna be gone for awhile, so i decide that maybe I can do something with her (keep a clean mind here people! lol).. Now she's asking me if I would prefer tennis with her, or go to her house, get food and watch a movie?!?!? hmmm... kinda tough choice actually! lol...
  24. Well, had you not STRUCK her in the first place, you wouldn't be paying for a recovery. Jeesh! Think first, then act..... oh you boyz will never learn... Hehehehe! <_< yoooohoooo, over here!!!!!!!! :chairshot: :chairshot: :chairshot: How bout we hit the idiot Tim over the head! Pretend like it was an accident or something! lol... :whistles: I get to see her tonite, somehow, I hope! lol.. This time I'm thinking of spicing it up for that *BLEEP*, yup and you know what that means, time to roll out the GX! :snoooorrrtttt:
  25. Ladies first! :whistles: :whistles: :whistles:
