If you still have the factory remotes and would like to keep using them, try finding a wholesale shop that sells PURSUIT alarms. This aftermarket alarm is designed to work with factory remotes yet cost a lot less than the Lexus alarms (which I believe are just Toyota VIP RS3200 series alarms)

I was filling up at around $3.89 for unleaded only. Damn California prices have to be higher! <_<

I believe most lexus dealers offer the lifetime car wash but I haven't noticed if my lexus dealer still offers it.

I believe the manual is referring to the amber turn signals. As far as I know, the DRLs for the GX has always been the amber turn signals and since they only made minor cosmetic changes in the 08 GX, your GX should have the amber turn signals as your DRLs. Check it out in the garage or driveway. ;) Welcome and congrats on the GX!

Honestly, I forgot to ask where the clunk would fall into what warranty category. I would PRESUME it's powertrain, but don't quote me on that. Ask your Lexus dealer for details. It took my dealer about 6-8 hours of labor to fix mine so I got a loaner car on the day I had mine done. And YES the clunk should be covered under warranty, so it should be fixed for NO CHARGE if you do have the defect and if you still have warranty left. ;)

Practically NC's got it. But you could also try and print up the TSB I posted (I forgot what page it's on, I think I mentioned it in the title) and show it to your Lexus dealer and maybe they might entertain the TSB since you will be dealing with Lexus, not Toyota in the repair.

Honestly, the more we try to avoid damages to our cars, the more that the damage comes to our cars. That's what I've noticed with my car, usually I try to park it far from the rest, and still people (luckily no big scratches or dings from anything) park ridiculously close to my car, with the higher risk of door dings and what nots.

The Mazda6 with the LS tail pipes must be the V6 version. I drove by my Mazda dealer and saw regular dual tail pipes on the Mazda6's they had.

I wonder if the new optional 3.7 L engine gives it enough power. I've driven MANY different Mazdas (worked at a Mazda and Suzuki dealership for a short time) and the current Mazda6 is not a fun car to drive! Although I only test drove a V6 Mazda6 twice, but their 4 cylinders are slooowww! hehe. :D The only cars I think that are worthy of ZOOM-ZOOM are the Mazda Speed3, RX8, and Mazda Speed6. I really dislike the design of the X6. It really doesn't work well. Same thing with the CLS500/550. A coupe was never made to run with 4 doors!

Alexander... I couldn't quite understand your advice. So if I found those registry stuffs again, i should defrag it? But here's my question now. I ran spybot, norton 360, and Windows Defender this morning and all 3 returned with NO THREATS. Do you guys think I finally got rid of it from my computer system? Btw, i'm running Vista, if that matters. hehe :P Sorry I'm not a total genius when it comes to computers and laptops :)

Thanks for the advice guys! I forgot to mention that I am using the Windows Defender and Spybot. Here's the weird thing. Last night, I ran a virus scan with my Norton 360, spybot, and Windows Defender like 4 times. The results were: Those 4 times I got "newdotnet" come up on spybot, "freeze" 2 times on spybot I'm guessing the same items on Defender because i didnt check what defender found. Anyways the 3rd and 4th time on Defender returned no threats. Norton on all 4 scans returned with 6 risks but just one was fixed. This morning I'm running all three again and so far my spybot returned with no threats. Defender's still running and so is Norton. Last night I did trace the newdotnet and freeze. Problem is i couldnt delete the "registry" items from newdotnet but i was able to delete two files of it. i cant remember if i found the freeze one, but its gone now. Do you think i can rest easy now?
