  1. The mirror is the right price , the tranny fluid is about $20 for 5 liters the sealant is a regular gasket seal which is available everywhere for $10 easily.
  2. You will not be able to just replace the sub unless you get an oem replacement , anything after market will require a new amp to push it which will also require you to run power wire to the trunk. The simplest solution is an oem replacement one as it is free air and the right ohms as well as being highly efficient requiring very little power from the factory amp.
  3. folia tec makes a spray for taililghts.
  4. lexfest is one large group other owners have smaller get togethers such as myself who organize members of this club and other luxury clubs for get togethers.
  5. this thread is over 2 years old , they are not around anymore.
  6. It is only slow because it has no tank to hold the air as well as a small compressor. Add a tank and a bigger pump and you can also get new switches for a much more aftermarket style ride.
  7. Any 98-2000 LS rims are usually 400-500 a set.
  8. You need to have it looked at as it could be anything.
  9. A switch is easy but what you may be in need of is a controller for 400-700 which adjusts the ride height and dampening.
  10. are there not a few screws around the sides of the intake?
  11. Engine covers in North America never had anything but Lexus on them. If it says Toyota it is because it is a Japanese import and the engine was replaced but they forgot to swap covers. Only the glass on pre 2000 cars have Toyota on the glass that is visible.
  12. Most of us have come across the seatbelt being lazy and not retracting when released. Well i found out it can be fixed by cleaning the upper anchor Basically as the seatbelt retracts it leaves behind a film of dirt which build up over time. By taking a q tip in alcohol you can clean the anchor holding up the belt . Once clean add some plastic protectant to allow it to be more slippery and it is all done in 30 seconds. My belts now retract when released again . Who ever looks under the anchor for dirt but it works.
  13. A low idle in gear or out would not be caused by a fuel filter being clogged . Otherwise it would be worse in gear and then trying to move would be impossible to do as the fuel would dry up to the engine. It could be a partially blocked issue combined with something else to cause a low idle.
  14. no problem ,enjoy ,i know you will. I wish it was easy to get here unfortunately they do not sell it in Canada and i have to buy it by the case when i visit the States. The worst part is i am on my last can :( If anyone is making a trip to my end and can grab be some i would love it thanks. You don;t know what you have until it is gone . It works for both getting sea foam and when you use it to realize how much power and mileage you lost as well as how smooth the car is.
  15. Green slime is 100% completely safe for wheels . It cannot damage anything compared to other tire fixes or seals it is a maintenance and damage fix. Check it out it is great stuff unlike emergency inflator type additives. I did one of my stock wheels and i ended up finding a leak on my bead even though it was not loosing any air but it still leaked in a 2 inch wide area on the lip and left a black streak. I really love the stuff. green slime page
  16. You got it . The LS stock has vents built into the pan . I uses those vents on the bumper for my intake.
  17. No straight pipes as such , i still have the cats but it has had the flanges removed to to make a smoother curve unlike the original. It gurgles nicely.
  18. It cleans it easy enough off the throttle plate. I only checked once and never looked back.
  19. Everyone has a different view , one thing i would add is if you do not have a perfect seal there is nothing nitrogen can do to reduce the amount of loss of air through a gap as that has nothing to do with the air leaving through the actual tire. If you want to know for sure with out losses use green slime in the tires first to seal them then fill with nitrogen.
  20. The primer is inadequate causing it to crack as well as not having enough flex coat added into the mixture to allow the paint to bend . Ask for your money back and go somewhere else , they are being lazy and cheap.
  21. Just because you pulled a plug does not tell you anything if it is firing. You need to have the plug in the coil and ground the side of the plug to confirm visually if there is spark across the gap and then you will also be able to see if there is any gas in the cylinder being sprayed out.
