  1. does the key goes in alll the way?? also did you try deactiviating it from the passenger door? if you turn the key in the passanger door lock and hold it does it unlock/lock all the doors is the alarm light on the dash bezel flashing sorry for all the questions just trying to get a big picture
  2. actually the piping size is 2.5 up to the resonator from the cat then it changes to 2.25 inches from the res to the muffler greddy does make one if you can find it
  3. you obvioulsy tried the key both ways but the alram control is only on the drivers door i think try holding the key in unlock on the passanger door there must be somehting stuck in the drivers doorkey hole clean it with wd 40 until the alarm is deactivated the car will not start try also disconnecting the battery also
  4. ino problem nice to know we have members down under go to my profile edit profile info then change the location :) do you have a windom or lexus gav
  5. well you already know toyota reliability so lexus is even better the is uses the supra engine so lo and behold the twin turbo set ups and much more body kits and anything else you can think of should be available
  6. look at the link below the banner ad for custom car mats they are a loc vendor so the quality should be good
  7. truthfully it all depends on driving style and braking efficency i almost never need to change my pads and i have slotted rotors which eat pads for breakfast lunch and dinner i brake only with enough force as needed and early, when stopped i release on the brake to just hold the car stopped ,not pressing all tehy way right down which helps keep the pads cooler one reason why my rotors look very clean no warpage or grooves i actually had one person ask me if i chromed them because they are so clean and reflective looking on average i would say 40 000 miles but that is a guess
  8. go to toyota, you do have a camry after all and i think alot of places can do your car they just don't know that your 1mz-fe engine is already obd 2 compliant meaning it has to follow stricter emmisions and has the same plugs as other models
  9. i think you have to remove the whole assembly in the center console to get to the lower screws
  10. you got it be careful as it is easy to break the cylinder if set too much in the wrong direction
  11. wal mart, home depot or anyother store that sell batteries
  12. you can use the trd camry kit for the 97-99 there is an explosion kit as well
  13. hey put you location in the profile sure put 2 exhausts and it will be quieter or atleast leave the resonator in when changing the pipeing and use a different muffler that is what i did and it didn't make it sound like a rice rocket nice and deep
  14. sorry didn't notice you put 95 the changer should be on the left side of the trunk(driver side) about a 1/2 foot back from the talilights
  15. there is a black knob behind the headlight turn it and it adjusts the car must e on a leveled surface as you will have to adjust acording to the green level on the top of the headlight
  16. yea heat them up in an oven to soften the urathane to pry it open
  17. no i doubt you will get all the parts off of ebay and then get a key as well you will have to go to lexus to get a new pair of keys and ecu chip for the alarm brain no other way to do this ....period you could forget about the whole oem alram and put an aftermarket one with a remote start instead for comparable money though
  18. hey how about posting a location in your info so we can see where you are replacing the amp is not needed ,since it runs the 8 speakers you would have to add an amp to add a speaker or sub woofer it isn't too hard but can be a pain in the ......
  19. no it should be out in a few weeks not sure exact date saw the 3rd trailer last night but can't remember the date and yah the crashes looked great loved the mustang getting demolished i think fords are crap anyway
  20. no it doesn't have a sub and no the amp under the passanger front seat cannot push a sub also
  21. ok first thing is you didn't state the year or when you bought the vehicle the y pipe will break if the mounts go as the engine will rock back and forth causeing the flex joints to open up if you didn't hear any noise then you could have left it well alone other thought is doesn''t the vehicle have warranty anymore?
  22. well if you know you brakes are going then change them but ithink you already knew that so i will move on in a 500 mile highway trip you will use very little of the brakes compared to a city or stop and go traffic situation midas can do the brakes very easily check with them performance pads aren't going to do much unless there is something more to bite into but if you can get tehm cryo ed then it will cause less dust and increase the max fatigue level sorry i don't have prices on that
  23. sorry i don't have much experiance with cheap tires just best bang for the buck lowest tires i have used are crap...............goodyear integrity's better crap ...goodyear rsa's also crap .......toyo fz4's one more.......kuhmo 712's ok .................goodyear aquatreads great ............michelin x-one's amazing .......toyo t1-s for the best return on value get the x-ones they are a bit pricey but compare them on tire rack for options remember the tires are the only thing touching the road bad tires equal loss of grip =less braking ,handling, and does = the availability of increasing time to escape an impact a few dollars are never worth a life best thing is i find the x ones to wear very little i had mine for about 100k km good luck
  24. more related to the ls or maintance section than detailing but i agree do the maintance and the car will run like clock work i really wanted to have an extended warr when i bought my 94 es in 97 but have had no need for it except for a few small things i was just worried of overall costs as i had a GM grand prix before which i was always fixing something
