to activate it just lock the doors and the light should go on by itself or try to lock the door on the switch before closing it then the led lights up it senses all the doors hood and trunk throught the lock mechanism and also the key switch

it is great you want to help owners only problem is it involves money still and that is frowned upon as this is a website and it is in ways being used by another buisness for profit with none being returned to it i would ask unless you would like to be a loc vendor to stop vending on this site to the members thank you

if a hood has a bend or anything more than a 4 inch dent it is not made to be repaired the under side of the hood contains the bars to control its crumple rate and direction once it has been bent ot beomce very weak and can bend in the same spot just from driving but i have not seen how big the damage is

the k and n ones work for fuel mileage but i don't feel tehy do for perofrmance gains they look just like the stock air box filter but are made of different material and are not as deep only 1 inch thick compared to 2 on the oem one

i will leave this situation alone as you seem more argumentative than based in reality for the experiance you seem to have water is a lubricate but it is not the same as oil and they both are in the engine but you wouldn't use it to lube an engine???? different rubber seals react different as are this is part of there properties good luck it is a toyota engine and they also use the red stuff in there's as well not just lexus and make sure you tell us what the reapir bill comes up to

the ant you know the answer that is why i haven't bothered to answer this question although i have noticed every post you need the original deck and amp to send a signal to the ant to pop it up change the amp under the seat and you lose the chime when you save radio stations and change buttons change both and that button is gone sorry i have no advice the freezing problem is more than likely a throttle position sensor i doubt a fuel treatment would do anything if you press on the gas it does not go any higher ,right? but if you let go of the pedal do the rpm's drop or stay at the same level? how long does it last ? does the car just work normal but you can't pass that specific rpm?

there are a few screws to reposition the sunroof but it also need shims if there is a height adjustment needed

anything like that is a waste of money get a cold air or nothing and that is a short arm pipe that draws in hot air use the stock box modified or don't do that injen one atleast

i guess we are both missing each others points lol :D the list as much as possible to fit with lots more tolerances look in the fram book as i did yesterday and it lists every lexus oil filter asthe exact saem part# i am not sure as i don't change many other lexus oil filters but i don't think they list the same part from them there are redundant #'s ,yes just like the camry one is listed as the es one in the dealer ut take a look at the dealer and compare the 2 's size if nothing else the more expensive one may just be a bigger one which can hold more oil and has more filter media in it just like a trick i learned at gm as a tech there are other filters that fit dead on and have the same holes just with a longe area to filter for a few cents more

i am guessing the wheels replaced are not seating right and at theat speed they might be pulling of the rim or bead of the rim are tehy the exact same tire size 245/40 18's and hat are the speed ratings of the tires?

glad the community helped you also i found lexus has made a new sized pulley wheel for my es as to get more juice at idle so i may gety a new wheel but since a changed all the wiring from the battery to the engine i start and run much better than before

the system has no shock sensor as part of oem as it would create customer complaints as to when it goes off or doesn't the system works pretty silently to try it stay in the car and arm it then after a minute it will activate to full mode then open a door and it will relock them and set itself off

glad you like it steve headlight washers are part of the cold weather package in canada comes with heated seats mirrors and washers skirts are below the valances right below the rubber strip on the doors got more ask away

depending on the power needed for the amp running a wire in the fuse box shouldn't really be done for overload ont he 10 gauge wire in it there is a hole do a search and you should find a picture of it location it is above the brake pedal and below the brake booster to the side

well you may have a problem with the vsc , so that is not normal the tick noise should be the valves and lifters needing adjustment 4. Car race (commpression) needel reached to 4 (1000round/min) and this i have no idea what you mean please elaborate if your battery is dead then have it replaced but it may be a problem with the alternator not charging it properly or the terminals on the battery

yah the engine will adjust the timing accordinly to the the needed octane at any given moment the above statments are true it can work with regualr gas but i still don't use it my wife did for a while in here car and it built up large deposits of carbon which i have to keep cleaning in the intake and chamber which renewed the performance the other good point of using premium fuel is it contains better cleaning agents than regular the choice is yours a few cents = a few hundred dollars over time but i feel a much better response in my cars than with regualr it is a must for forced induction cars ( turbo supercharger) but acceptable for anything else

why do you still find this hard to belive do a search and find the others who cost themselves a good bit of money for being cheap as there couldn't be any other reason as the dexcool last longer and has a higher temp rating but then why did you want lexus engineering

sorry what you guys are talkign about is not a line level convertor those are just rca outputs, nothing more a convertor is powered and is the difference of a cd to a tape both work but the other loses tons of frequencies the convertors are available in audio stores that deal with more high end equipment the one i use are from crystal line look for those i was going to sell mine but i think i am going to end up with a another car i will have to use them in they are about 125 usd this works for a left and right channel easy to hook up and unbelivable when changing audio but not the head

don't forget the most important part of the endurance it smells like grape so my car smells like choclate on the inside from the coc butter on the seats and grape as you get out for the seals lol

fram makes crap filters and it is generic they will list a part for as many cars as possible , just becaseu the threads and size are similar that makes it easy to sell that is a very bad way to compare the differences and advice go to the dealer and ask them to see both filters look at the amount of holes around the main journal and the size of the gasket also the overall lenght of the filter for oil capacity

the 94 and newer es 300 had a seperate ecu contorl for the tranny which did adjust but i don't think the 92-93 did it will also raise the rpm's much higher depending on the load and throttle position before you press the pedal the cruise doe not adjust transmission acording to driver needs just speed
