  1. well black will absob the suns heat more than a lighter colour if the co co butter is not available at a local supply store go to a store that sells black skin products as i first found from one of my friends who suffers from dry elbows knees and hands these stores often sell weaves and other products directedcted to the community and usually have very good products that are hard to find elsewhere
  2. one of our vendors for the LOC does have some for sale not sure on pricing give them a shout try the dealer i know they used to sell them pretty cheap i think 100 for a set of 4
  3. well if you have bubles in the lens then you know there is definatly a problem the light blinks only for when the ac compressor senses compressor lock up not any other codes you may need to find the reason for the bubles it may just have air in it pressing the auto button is just going to make it worse so i would say stop doing it as the system senses a problem and you are pressing it again and it may not sense as much pressure and let it turn on now the last thing you want is to be driving and get the system to lock and the clutch for it which might burn a belt and leave you a few hundred dollars shorter never mind stuck at the side of the raod just a thought
  4. when mentioning a problem please mention the year as well the cd mags where made by pioneer as it is all a pioneer stereo deck amp speakers and cd player
  5. the key wont go in all the way or turn all the way sounds like the rod is bent someone probably tried to break in with a slim jim and bent the lock rods or poped it off the locking pins you might want to try a AAA guy to open the car with a set
  6. most rim shops can get replacments some are aftermaket ones at very good prices look for a company called wheels direct i know they have ithem here at there toronto location
  7. well if the pin inside does not press the contacts fully then the secondary switch inside the button does not sense a full depression to activate the auto also i think you mean the second gen ES as the first one was the 250 89-91

  9. moving this to the detailing section as it is more a generic black paint question but there are already very good answers in other posts in that section
  10. look for the lock code in the glove box which tells you the right style although there are aonly a few different ones then go to the dealer and order a new one
  11. i might be more inclined to say it is fuel after thinking about it for a second as the car is still insufficent at start up get a fuel line pressure gauge and check it since the pressure is still buidling when it first starts and when the throttle is pressed it will reduce the pressure and delivery of fuel
  12. it could also be a fuel delivery problem a air sensor problem throttle position or a gap in the intake pipe but check the plugs anyway it is relativly simple
  13. i might say it is a problem with the lock switch itself the wiring is linked in many ways and i think oneinteruption in a swithc can cause the system to stop
  14. sorry bbsal if the cv is clicking it is already bad a new boot and grease will do nothing ofr you the click is from the constant velosity joint binding at usually the outer joint once it clicks there is too much play they usually go if a boot is broken and it gets debris inside to increase the rate of wear or unless the alignment is off and causes the joint to go into positions it wasn't meant for
  15. those are the rigth type of manual the 92-93 are the same 94 is by itself and the 95-96 are the same with no changes so either 2 could be used if applicable for the model year there are 3 volumes in total 1 is for the engine parts 2 is for the trim and interior plus body panles and adjustments 3 is a wiring schematic very good if you understand wiring and troubleshooting the fuse i don't know just look under the hood as well
  16. the dealer can order the wiring schematic it is about 30 for it or ask them for a copy of the relavent pages
  17. actuall you don't need a test light you can use a paperclip any thing to short the 2 pins side by side on the GM connector
  18. glad things got better witht he car but i think it needs to be taken to a pro to look at it i think the fringe of web diagnosis has been reached with out being able to see it sorry it sounds like it is gonna take some money to fix
  19. the headlight clearing is a trial and error type thing if you are adventureous then go ahead 3 bolts for the headlight and no the bumper does not need to be removed
  20. you need to check if the plugs on both sides are still on or check a fuse as well
  21. did you try changing the battery though? in the key?
  22. let me guess when you start the car the ligth is off but when driving especially over a hard bump it may turn on for a bit? if o then it is more than likely too much play in the wheel hub that is only intermittent if the light comes on then it is a problem no matter what so the above listed repair of the hub would be needed also
  23. well if the ant was replaced the person may have thought they needed to remoe the panelling it is on the passanger side not the drivers side of the trunk ,right? also the lights are just connected to the car by 5 nuts and the lights' screws so water can seep in them and not soak the surrounding materiala as there is insualtion seperating it where looking for the leak you will need to remove all of the trunk trim paneling to see hwere it might be draining 2 don't forget the light as it will be dark in tehtrunk also make sure the nut for the base of the ant is secure if it is not then it will let water into the trunk as well the ant has a hose loook for it and make sure it is connected to go outside of the vehicle not just sitting of to the side

  25. obd scanners a re pretty generic some use the car for power otehrs use batteries or mine uses the car unless needed then it uses the bateries inside they all just download a code and flash it on a screen only diferences are the size of the screen and price some good ones will also show values of the cars sensors used in diagnostic repairs not just sesnor trouble but they are moer like the few thousand dollarr ones
