If it were my vehicle, I'd tell the installer that you would like it replaced, perhaps by an auto body shop. It is both cosmetically irritating and potentially a leak path.

Did you check voltage to the bulb connection?

Typically worn valves are the most common cause of blue smoke.

My guess is that it has fine threads. If you have a micrometer or calipers you can measure the diameter which will be very close to a whole number metric thread size. Then look up a metric thread size table that has fine and course threads. You may also be able to use the correct tap and clean out the threads of the nut using tapping fluid.

I was recently in a Toyota dealership and decided to ask the parts department person if he could print out the exploded view if the center console rear-side panels so I could determine what type(s) of fastening hardware were securing the panels. Within 3 minutes he printed me a copy. I think if you stopped by in person, they'd be more likely to oblige.

If you buy replacement speakers from crutchfield.com, you will receive detailed instructions. Another option is to stop by a Lexus dealership and ask the parts dept person to print you the exploded assembly drawing.

What if you called a Lexus parts person and asked what the amp rating is of that particular fuse. It least you'd narrow down the choices.

I follow my owner's manual when it comes to transmission fluid level checking. For engine oil level checking, I check it when the engine is cold or 5 minutes after shutting it off. Who changed your oil, last? "Way over" could be a problem. I'm assuming you have a way to raise your vehicle so that it remains level? It will need to be if you are going to go back and forth between draining some oil and rechecking the dipstick. Many vehicles have "crush washers" that need to be replaced whenever you loosen or remove the plug. You can pick one up at the dealership if you don't know the size and material. You may want to pick up a plug as well so you can have it and the washer ready when you remove the existing pair. It still may be messy, but do not initially tighten the plug between level checks. Tighten it only after the level is correct.

How often do you change oil? Is its viscosity that which is specified in your owner's manual? How many miles are on the odometer?

The "Car Care Nut" on youtube created a video about how consistently running your gas tanl low can cause premature fuel pump failure because there needs to be enough gas in the tank to keep the pump cool. An added detriment is allowing the pump to pull in dirtier fuel from the bottom part of the gas tank.

Have you called all the auto scrapyards in your state?

Have you checked your car battery for low voltage or loose battery post connections?

Since new ones have been discontinued, have you checked auto scrapyards, nationwide for used ones?

Are you certain there is one on the engine block? Most auto block fittings related to the cooling system are air bleeds, not drains. The main coolant drain valve is on the radiator as per item 6 in this image: 2016-2023 Lexus Drain Valve 90910-09134 | OEM Parts Online

You're welcome, Marc. I've never done it, myself but you may want to ask an independent mechanic, first.

Brian, did they perform a load test on the 12V battery? The only incident in the last 18+ years that involved a scary warning on the dash, ended up being a battery cell that was low on distilled water/battery acid. There were no codes to pinpoint the issue, but it is well known that especially with newer vehicles, electronics are very sensitive to battery voltage.

You may want to ask the vendor/manufacturer of the wiring harness. If it is a dealership item, the parts department person should be able to cross-reference the two vehicle's part numbers to see if they're the same.
