hey everyone, i decided to drop some money and get a new audio system, i was tired of turning down treb and mid just for bass. im getting 2 type-R's 10'in alpine, alpine amp and alpine CDA-9835( not sure about the last one)... is tehre anything more i need? i know that i need a box, i think im going with sealed, and install kit plus wire harnesses, im buying from sfxaudio.com. but is tehre anything else?

hey guys, my bday just pass and my firned is giving me 35 for my bday to go towards clear corners, and so im looking for a place to get them as soon as possible!!! currently ebay is not bring up any thing for the LS, and lextasy.com is 55 dollars to buy, plus who knows how much shipping is i'll contiune to look on goggle but any one have some clear corners to donate?? :) :) haha wishful thinking haha jk jk anyone know where to get some for cheap please let me know THANKS guys -joe nguyen

hey guys, i was looking at my car it has air suspendtion but it doesnt seem to have the ;black controler module... my friends car has it , but i dont for some reason?? is there a way i could set it up to lower at the flip of a switch?? hmm thoughts guys?

me and my friend have been thinking about some used IS-300s and tune them up big question is"is it worth buy IS then souping up for maybe races, we plan to enter in the track around here, and also another question is twin turbo?? possible? since it is the same supra engine in there can we mod it to have twin turbo? thanks guys

i wish i could get picture for u i might have one but my camera is out of service, but im thinking about getting clear corners now that my left side blinker doesnt work, so i thought if i was goign to replace the blinkers might as well since they will be out any thoughts ??? my LS is gold with the 2 tone trim style just thoughts suggestions are all helpful

well i dont know if u were asking me but i was sitting on 3 of bf goodrich tires and 1 goodeagle, something like that, my cars tires have lasted me a while and theyw ere beyond repair, the set of 4 cost about 610 with tax and discount, paying out of my butt though soo expensive... but worht it!!! the dunlops are the OEM ones arent they??

hey guys me and my dad decided to get new tires after multiple nails in the first set of tires they lasted us about 4 to 5 years maybe even more, but anywho i got a set of Michelin® Energy MXV4+ P225/60VR16 and i have to tell everyone that driving these tires... wow its like driving a cloud, the response, the lack of resistance, IS GREATT :D :D :D i got to keep these tires for a good long time YES!!! costco is having a michelin sale buy 4 tires, get 60 dollars off, costco in the greater area of sacramento atleast... i love them if u guys are considering tires from costco these are top quality of costco, one of them i think, get them they are NICE... well guys have a great day -joe nguyen

hey guys, been checking the GS threads off and on and this one just cuaght my eye!!!! good luck to everyone with there mods... i myself am saving up to buy my aunts GS300, ever since i heard that the GS 300 carrys the same beast within its hood as the supra the first thing i thought was twin turbo, and the gs 300 would go from sibling of the GS430, to total big brother. been reading this thread and im thourghly jealous of everyone, speically jtanoyo, very nice car, i love the new tail lights and the carbon fiber grill, first one ever that i've seen... agian good luck to everyone... i'll be keeping tabs on this thread for updates. -joe nguyen

it seems there problems with wiring, your LS is a first gen, wiring seems to be a problem with the first gens too, something got loose, or shorted, or not complete connections

hey guys kind of a add on question to Blakes... if u do happen to switch the trays is it possible to use those extra buttons as switchs for something say maybe interior neon?? that would be cool to have those as a muti purose use

haha sorry guys i havent been online dad disabled the net for a couple weeks or something it felt like an eternity.... i wish i can quote each and everything but that would take lots of time... SRK- i feel like that too all the people that have there civics in my school parking lot, revving their engines like its hard, i just have to do something to them so they can realize true lexus might... and i do try and fix and install things myself in the LS... just a few days ago i installed clear corners... and JDM tail lights... which i have to say doesnt look too great on my car so im contemplating selling them or giving them to my friend with a LS too... to everyone - i understand what im doing, when i feel the need to race... hazzards to it.... damaging the lexus.... acidents.... getting smoked by a four banger that has good low end torque... to try and solve most of these problems... i;ve been working to either upgrade my LS... which like someone noted will lose its lexusness... and i think im willing to give up some of it... or the other option is to buy my aunts used IS300 manual.... she said she sell it to me on a monthly plan... thats if i get a steady job and get into college... only time will tell... thanks everyone for concerns tips, words of caution :D :D :D -joe btw... for a 16 year old i cant afford another car at this time.... and the LS400 V8's is more then enough for civics accords and someothers... any other possible ways for better 0-60 times?

guys i need to know how to get better 0-60 times... and also faster launches off the line.... what i have tried was power on, braked and reved... and after launch i still get 10 sec 0-60.... when i brake rev... i notice that the revs get limited to 2k... is that just me or is that the ecu??? anyway to disable that? or fix that problem? please help guys
