  1. Good idea but I just can't see my gf running daft around the beach and chasing sticks into the sea, pity really - Dogs are for the beach, women are for the bedroom :D Also, it wouldn't be just for the dog, I prefer the shape/looks of estates but don't want to part with my GS. damo1 you cant? you need a new gf then. mine chases sticks and cars too. occasionally i have to punish her for peeing on the couch but you know i love the little girl. :whistles: hehehe I know it was photoshop, i was just referring him to a lexus wagon. oh, i c brian

  3. um u do know thats 699.00 a SET not for the whole car you use a set up front and a set in the rear. i got the front and rear SETS and installed for 1400 thats a great deal! i do i have a speaker on the dash that has never been hooked up since i bought the car. it shall be soon! brian

  5. very much satisfied.......i switched to the d6's though as i was running the Diamond HP650 HEX Pro 6.5 and they can break the bank though i think the front/rear component set was over $1400.00 (installed) and thats getting them cheaply as my friends own the shop i think they retail for like 899.99 a set but you can find them for 700 or so if you lucky! . if u want a nice but cheaper one try the d3 or d6 line (can get d6 lines for like 300-400 so like 600-800 for the set TRUST ME well worth this). i am very satisfied with the d6 line im running now they not as good as the hp650's but im just not spending that kinda money again. i was running a memphis belle amp on it but i fried that (i've had it for years and the ppi amps i was using i didnt like to much so i got a eclipse amp and im still running that i forget which model its in my room so i will have to look! let me put it this way the d6's were so good i never even had a sub in my es300. they will be installed into my gs430 very soon when i get all my other audio stuff sorted out (i want siruis on my factory screen, my ipod control on my factory screen, dvd player, alpine steering controls, pioneer 12" yes i said 12" flat sub with custom box,etc etc im just trying to decide if i wanna use the alpine hub or some of the generic ones and then if i wanna put that money in the audio or motor) brian
  6. if your referring to his pic on the 1st post.........that's a photo shop. look at the trunk area in the pic! plus i think he said he photo shopped it! brian

  16. If you didnt drive it in 4 days thats prob the prob. I have to go out and crank up mine every 5 days or so or I,ll have to jump it. no way. i can and have let mine sit for over a week on several occasions and had no problems. i have a optima yellow top too though but still that shouldn't be the prob brian
  17. if u know a stereo shop u trust, i would take it to them and just go over what you said and see what it does. i had a aftermarket alarm (viper) and auto starter on my old es300 for like 4 years and i had a little battery drain and every now and then car wouldn't act right. i couldn't ever pin point the drain but when my dad bought the car from me, the stealer ship convinced him that was it and charged him like 350 to unhook it (yeah i know i couldn't talk him outta let THEM do it) brian
  18. seriously can ne1 help me out here? brian

  20. Good luck finding those steering wheels on Craigslist. They usually cost anywhere from $600 - $800 from the dealership. :chairshot: um rezaxxed........he's looking for the model that comes with them. he isnt looking to buy JUST the steering wheel, he wants the whole car. jmurda, i have no idea though. sorry. oh yeah welcome to the club both of you. brian
  21. my drivers side works fine but when i use heat the passenger side stays cold. you can hear the blend door click and whirr like a computer hard drive loading when i first start the car for like 15 secs but now its staying on longer been doing this since i picked up the car but as winter it slowly making its way back around i thought i might get the jump and try and fix this. i need a pdf or a detailed help of how to check and find out which blend door (i think there are 4) is bad and how to replace it! help me out please. oh think this is also referred to as a servo? brian
  22. its possible. but if you had a reputable shop not likely. did this just start after you had the gps installed? man tracing electrical drains sucks.........if you DIY it can take forever and if you pay for it, it can get very expensive as its so timely. i would take it back to the place that installed your gps. tell them your having a electrical drain (if it just started after u put in the gps, tell them that) and see what they are willing to do to help. good luck and welcome to the forum brian
  23. I was looking into the same thing but I went the cheap way with a cassette adaptor for my iPod from Belkin after I looked at the price of integration cable and other things plus installation. I think you can get it from Walmart for about $20. It is a cassette tape attached to a RCA jack that you plug into your Ipod and control your Ipod to play the music. I tried the FM connector, it was pretty bad sound. he's right some of the fm connector's sound like crap. try the belkin one. my buddy has it, it sounds fine. oh yeah the tape adaptor just looks ghetto as hell. it works. i dunno how well but it just looks like crap. a ipod plugged into a tape then running to the tape player. :D do people even use their tape players nemore? i havent owned/bought a tape in like 15 years or more. brian
  24. :D that's alot of us use BOTH sites, come on i mean its just a tool for information..........i can think of atleast 10 members (i know there is more but i haven't noticed or they dont have the same sn) who have the same screen name on the LOC (HERE) and the CL (THERE). i would keep both, just my suggestion........i noticed unless u on there every 5 mins its hard to keep up as they have ALOT of turn around on answers and new posts and if u don't get on for a day or so u better be prepared to go back a few pages. brian
