Im sure you can but i have never seen it done. i would like to do the same thing with my 1st gen gs300. i could use a 5 speed from a sc300

Where can I get some Daizen sway bars? Do you know any good sites for 2nd gen gs300 performance parts?

the bigger wheels will help handling. if you go with an 18" you will be fine, ride will be great.

They will help tighten your suspension but if you dont have anything else done to the car you will not notice a ton of difference.

Has anyone done a turbo on a 98-05 gs? If you have would you let me know if you bought a kit or pieced it together. What brand parts did you use? Did you run in to any problems?

I didnt know if you ever got an answer on this but just incase not Lextreme has a list of all sorts of specs for SC's and Soarers here is the infor for the 1JZ you wanted though http://lextreme.com/1jzgtel.htm looking to do a soarer project, prob gonna go with the 2jzgtte though instead of the 1jzgtte. does anyone know if there is a certain year sc that the swap would be easier in or are the all the same. cuz i know 98-00 has tract control and the 300 has the vvti engine. thanks

The 1jz didn't come out of the aristo, it came out of the sc300 in japan(soarer). Do you want to do a manual conversion or keep it auto? Auto will be the cheapest, you can get a 1jz with auto tranny for about $1000, or you can go with a 2jzgtte with auto for around $2000. Now if you want to go with a manual, a 1jz with a 5 speed will be about $2500 or you can go with 2jz with a 5 speed for around the same. If you want the 6 speed, your gonna pay a ton. The 2jzgtte with a 6 speed is gonna run you about $6500. It s crazy, if you want a fun car and want to keep the money down, go with the 1jz. Still has a bunch of power and is capable of a lot. There are many kits out there to choose from. You can also peice one together. If you don't want to spend much money, peice a kit together. Spend good money on the turbo. Buying a cheap turbo is one of the dumbest things you can do. Cheap ebay turbos will last a few months and that s just running 7-8 psi. You can find good quality turbo, but not for less than 600-1000 dollars just for the turbo. Good luck.
