i wasnt aware a dealer DID alignments. check your LCA's or lower control arms ,the upper control arms, and try checking the tie rods make sure they not bent or broken!

take your car to a competant mechanic and have him run a diagnostic and pull the code the srs system is giving off and then let us know what code that is. can further help you this way

old, old thread but yeah thats MY fav color. that car looks great and taillights are nice also. i looked for that blue gs for almost a year before i finally settled on black as i was unable to find a gs430 in that color with the options i wanted :(

just get some 6.5" speakers they fit fine. thats what i have in my 2nd gen gs and even if u have to build/male/buy adaptor plates i would rather have 6.5" speakers something like this but made for the gs. i have seen them on ebay but i had my stereo shop just make some for me. im running 6.5" all the way around brian

I just installed a SRT intake and ECU on my 02 gs300 this week for about $550. I have to say I can feel the difference and the install was pretty simple. The ECU is not just a plug in comp., at least on my model, you have to solder in the connections. You will hear the intake working. I am pleased so far. See ya. http://www.swiftracing.com/SRT/item.aspx?id=85&u=2000026 its on sale this week for 480 for all models for the srt intake. they all require soldering but directions are very abundant and simple. swift is a great company too brian

DON'T GO TO THE STEALERSHIP! make sure its not your lower control arms also.........these are a known problem on the gs. i forgot how to check the wheel bearings something about pushing down on the car but i 4got! im fixing to replace my lower control arms on my 2001 gs430 brian

if it turns out to be just a bulb let me know i have some. i just replaced my oem low beam 8000k (i think they were) hids with 4300k bulbs! brian

yeah unfortunately i agree if by clip/holder u mean wires. it sounds like u need some new harness's although i would still like to see a pic of where they are missing from like the actual place so i could better determine what u mean by clip/holder! y don't u have the shop pay for them if they removed them? brian

I always get my oil change at the dealership; anyone out there get them done at the local shops? and never received a coupon from the dealership before... B) i use the mobil 1 filter. not exactly cheap but i LOVE the magnetic core! brian

i change mine every 5000 miles or 5 months and most times its still fairly clear. i love the synthetic though! wouldn't use anything but that! most jiffy lubes or oil change places or auto zone will collect your oil so PLEASE dont throw it into a a dumpster! brian

i wouldn't go to the stearlership but if u mechanically inclined this is a easy check! if not you might wanna go to a mechanic or a friend and have them help you (friend will be more inclined to help than a mechanic unless u have a shop like i do, all my friends are the mechanics and help me through most things) or u can buy a haynes manual and try it that way! brian
