  2. Man! You are the MAN....I am keep you in my contact. Joel thats what the women say :whistles:
  3. ok let me ask you this.........were the wires they removed in or around the glove box? when i was changing my servo motors yesterday, i noticed some of the wires i unconnected turned off my nav head unit, the sound on passenger side and a few other things! brian
  4. but u r on here trying to peddle and sell them man! dude im not knocking you or anything your doing in fact after all the complaining and etc i will still (maybe) be getting a kit from you! i just want everyone to know the facts before they start thinking this is some miracle cure! i know u can but i didnt wanna scroll through 8 pages or more! :) so what do you think SK? is this a worthwhile "mod" to do if your not having any problems with the power steering? or should i say is this a worthwhile precautionary thing to do?
  5. replace them then.....u have at least one shock out but more likely gonna be at least 2! brian
  6. no price isnt bad....adam had the gs430 one available for like 3k b4 it hit the market. i just still wanna turbo and no supercharge less i have to! brian
  7. yeah they do im not a fan of them......i would rather have a whole kit! just my $0.02. dunno i have seen the lights but several companies make them...try google here is your lip http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/greddy-...98-p-22782.html l-tuned doesnt care greddy..........u can also search for them by trust (this is the brand they go under in japan) brian
  8. remember the search is your friend....lol ok found a few OLDER posts of mine...... http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...c=46039&hl= u can see his sc on his gs and i think the 2nd white pic is the RMM sc thats been discontinued! but this should help u get started! http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...c=46299&hl= brian
  9. this might be a dealer only option to change........damn what was that service they told me didnt exist..........ahhh yeah C-BEST! might have to change through there. resetting battery will do nothing for this window option otherwise! brian
  10. i run 10w-30 in the summer and 5w-30 in the winter. always use full synthetic and a mobile 1 filter! just my $0.02 here
  11. what about using the extra $ for hookers? how can u hate hookers? they leave when u/they done and don't ever complain! not that i would know or anything :whistles: nah im just kidding about icky hookers! but no buy the parts yourself and like he said find a reputable shop YOU TRUST and you should be able to save. i went all out and did stuff i didn't need to do and still saved $ ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh and check ball joints while your there! im fixing to do mine! oh and dont cheap out on the gas...JUST USE THE 93 OR HIGHEST GRADE YOU GET. i wanted to run race gas at half a tank once just to see but no1 in Memphis carries it anymore! brian
  12. we? maybe thats the problem more than one of you are driving? nah just kidding i would also suggest upgrading your sway bar bushings, and check the other bushings. sounds like you need shocks though. car really bumpy....or does it "float" like a boat......up and down,up and down? brian
  13. source please? and no i didnt buy it new. whose gonna swap out a compass mirror? sorry no high demand for these that i am aware of! can u send me a pic of YOUR car with the ml and nav package with the compass mirror? funny i didnt know the HID/ML package was even a option together on the gs300. i guess it would make sense though! u have a speaker on the dash above the a/c vents? brian
  14. just like most people saying, check and either clean or replace the tps sensor! that should fix u up! if that doesnt fix it...u might wanna make sure the tranny isnt slipping as you say your having problems with it, but try the tps sensor first brian
  15. Ok, cool..I've check L-tune before but I'll do more research on that... thanks try calling this company. its not listed on their site but i know they make kits for all the gs series..... http://www.jetsupercharger.com/ there is a guy on here named 2whitelexus who has one of their kits! and unlike most others its fairly affordable! brian
  16. thats the greddy lip. the headlight rings are a separate piece. not even made by greddy! i thought the hood was the VIS but it may not b...let me look and c! hmmmm im leaning towards it is the VIS hood but the vent looks a tad higher on the his hood rather then the VIS! so im not sure but the lip is the greddy lip! brian
  17. well feel free to post them pics if you can find them! well im not here to knock anyone or anything they do but after getting a price for a "kit" from him, my personal opinion is just go to a hardware store or car parts store buy some clamps for cheap (only need 2) and either a car parts store or a aeronautical store (or anyplace that has aeronautical fittings) and pick up the hose! shouldn't cost you more than 10-15 bucks and hose will be most expensive piece! then go buy your own filter and if your gonna do this "mod" do it that way and save yourself some $! sorry bythabay i just cant justify paying for 40 for the filter, 2 hose clamps, and a uncut hose! its kinda ludicrous! haha thats funny i stumbled upon the forum u were in years ago when i was comparing 5w-30 to 10w-30 for someones post today. post # 4 http://www.yotatech.com/f2/5w-30-versus-10w-30-oil-35693/ brian
  18. uh huh and how much is the kit again..........any difference in this and the 100 dollar performance filter? what size do you get these filters in......? brian Sorry, I just realized I didn't really answer your question. No, there is no difference between the regular $15 filter and the fancy one. The fancy one is just that - fancy. The size you will need for the power steering system is 3/8" i guess im gonna be the guinea pig here? p.m. sent. u know kit would be better (as you have already done this if you just cutt the hose and had it sized already for us (some of us are lazy) hahaha
  19. uh huh and how much is the kit again..........any difference in this and the 100 dollar performance filter? what size do you get these filters in......? brian
  20. not my intentions at all to make u look bad, just stating the facts! u did just recently start a membership on clublexus and were posting about this same exact thing......u know most of us do jump back and forth from site to site to gain more info! n yes i saw the g35 video. you would just think that the engineers would have put one in if they were having problems with this in the long run! until your post i haven't ever heard ne1 mention a problem with it! i mean i know it supposed to be a "lifetime" fluid but sometimes things happen! you know my old 93 es300 still had oem power steering fluid in it and never had a problem! im not saying it doesn't happen im just saying, y mess with it if its doing fine? its not to much trouble to do just is it worth doing! maybe I'll have to try this! just by chance, since i know u sell these, how much are they? brian
  21. yeah but this kit is ALSO 16k and for that kinda money im gonna wanna just bolt it up.......not have to modfiy it to work! and for that kinda money i would buy one of those crate motors and make probably DOUBLE the power on NA motor. so less u just got loads of money this just doesnt seem feasible or worthwhile! brian
  22. yeah he just became a member on club lexus too and is trying to peddle them over there also. dont seem like a bad product but i guess unless your experiencing a problem with the factory power steering.....is there really a reason to mess with it? besides i mean for you to sell some product? brian
  23. um what part of ny u in cause it snows EVERY year in ny. im from erie pa and we got lots of snow up there too, my uncle is in elmira ny and they get snow constantly! face it the north gets snow so im not sure what your talking about! snow driving is very unreliable unless u running snow chains and i dont recommend using them! just click your snow mode on and it should reduce the torque and help a little, i use it when i drive up there brian
