  1. Hey guys, my '04 GS300 is having some suspension problems.. at low speeds i hear creaking and what seems like grinding noises, when i went to have it checked at the body shop i got an estimate of $600 to replace them.. does this sound like a reasonable price? or should i get a second opinion. Thanks in advance! -Thomas
  2. Hi guys i recently got this letter from my lexus dealership and i was wondering if anyone could clarify what this means for me. thanks (: "Dear Thomas, Due to great factory APR financing, lease specials and high demand for quality pre-owned vehicles, we really need your 2004 LEXUS GS 300. I would like to upgrade your 2004 LEXUS GS 300 to a brand new 2008 Lexus with a monthly payment at or near your current payment. Regardless of whether you're currently making LEASE OR LOAN payments or your vehicle is PAID OFF, we want to trade keys with you. I have customers in need for you 2004 LEXUS GS 300 and in return, catch the keys to a brand-new Lexus or quality pre-owned vehicle of your choice. This is an exclusive offer for Jim Falk of Beverly Hills customers only and is yoru opportunity to drve away in a new Lexus today! Luxury has never been this affordable." Is this just an offer for a new lease, technically? I still have some payments on my GS, this letter sounded to good to be true, what do you guys think? -Thomas
  3. Thanks alot dj, thats the answer I was looking for. I've been looking into retrofitting.. but it is a bit pricey and I'd rather keep everything as OEM looking as possible. I'm just considering getting aftermarket HID's but I don't like the idea of having to change the bulbs every so often ): we'll see though. thanks again! -Thomas
  4. I just got my tints done today (: I'm very happy with the results I got 15% back and 10% front.. I was planning on getting 20% all around but because of my tan interior it didnt seem dark enough (:
  5. Ah I see, sorry I saw this post a little late. Thanks for the input I'll continue researching (:
  6. Ah I see, I figured since HIDS were an option for my car that they could just replace it at the dealership, but thanks for the input brian (: -Thomas
  7. Hi guys, I have a 2004 GS 300 stock with halogen headlamps and I was wondering if I could purchase stock HIDS from a dealership and have them installed? I figured that would be more reliable that buying an HID kit, does anyone know if this is possible and about how much it would cost? Thanks in advance guys (: -Thomas
  8. Hi everyone, nice to meet you all! I just recently purchased a '04 gs 300 and was looking into tires and rims. As of now its stock 16 inch with factory rims. I've looked around the forums and I've decided that I'd prefer performance over appearance.. but I do want to buy some new tires and rims. I dont think I'd be dropping my car at all either. Any advice on tire/rim sizes w/o lessening the perforamance of my car would be really appreciated! Thanks in advance! -tumtum
