  2. auto features SHOULDN'T be the problem as they are made from the dealer to be on all the time...so they shouldnt all of a sudden take on more of a amp draw than they normally do. best bet....? get a ohm meter and start testing fuses till u find the one u need....does it have the oem radio? amp? nething aftermarket in it?

  4. does ne1 know a calibration method? i got one yesterday claiming it works on the NON ML cars and i tried it neways an guess what? it didnt work lol.   6. ok guys for the most part this should fix all your problems but i have run into a strange one again.... ok so i ordered some "used" servos awhile ago from a member, sent them back after i got them as they still wouldnt engage the foot mode....so i installed the new ones straight from the bag i got from sewell lexus. GUESS WHAT? THEY WONT ENGAGE INTO FOOT MODE EITHER...when i put it in feet/face mode it turns on face + defrost, when i put it on feet mode it goes just to defrost BUT if i drive around for 10-20 min SOMETIMES it will finally kick into the foot mode. i have watched all the servos (yes EVEN the drivers side, although i didn't pull the dash i just removed that black plastic foot piece and watched it engage) so i know they ALL are working but i still cannot get this to go into feet mode..... i did run a diagnostic and am showing NO codes....put it in test mode on mode 6 it runs partly on feet but mode 7 it will ONLY run top defrost and#7 is a feet test mode. anyone have ne1 ideas? my mechanic said these units need to be calibrated but i have NEVER heard of these having to be calibrated, so before i take it to the stealership (where they are gonna tell me i need to replace my mode servo) can someone help me out here? ne ideas or suggestions?
  7. i got my 2001 gs430 1.5 years ago WITH 72,000 for ONLY $14,000. so you just have to look around and find a hell of a deal....deals out there now....even better since no1 seems to want the v8 since gas is crazy but i still prefer it!

  12. yeah only thing about "black beauty" is she looks FUGLY after the rain lol...post some pics of your system. spark plug change wont help me...u have the I6 and i have the V8....ty though

  16. i dunno how i could have but i forgot about this example. so your telling me you can shift faster than a paddle shifter, which IS a automatic tranny.....face it man, autos suck we ALL know this. especially for fun,spirited driving BUT you'll always be faster in the long run with a auto. if you take the same two cars with like mods, ones a auto and ones a manual and race over a mile (think loss of boost will be insignificant in the quarter but maybe not) or so, the auto will have lost LESS boost pressure in between shifts (as it changes gears faster so again less loss of boost pressure) taking the manual more time/effort/energy to play catch up. if i was drag racing i would rather have a turbo supra than a stick supra....i promise B)
  17. hey sakataj, i'm experiencing a similar problem although the heating system is re-directing air everywhere except the floor vents. alot of other cars i've owned the air was re-directed to the appropriate vents via vacuum lines. i'm kind of in the dark about this "servo", pertaining to what it is. also, which servo would it be for the situation i'm experiencing? thanks! guess u just didnt bother to check my old posts....?the mode servo is the one that directs airflow! ummmmmmmm im confused (by the response above), i DID answer you (below) so y u respond like no1 responsed! here is the post i refer to is right here http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...mp;#entry346783

  21. what is the year of your car? it sounds like u just need to either DIY and unsolder them and resolder some in or replace the board! but i have a DIY on this just waiting to see what year yours is
  22. tell me about it....i had a arata exhaust/power commander/bmc filter/and a few other things when i hit that! i guess my biggest hesitation is once your part 140 your dead ALMOST no matter what! do you'll even have a governor nemore? or do u still get the 185-186 cutt off?
