Yes, It can play movie dvds with a factory 2008 gx470 glovebox 6 cd dvd player. It is same size as the 2002 cd player fits in same place in the glovebox as the factory 2002 6 cd player. I have one with the wiring harness. Here is a pic of the nav playing a movie. thats really freakin cool... but i do think OP meant like can he play them off the one he had without adding nething...but im interested. how much you wanting for the 2008 gx470 glove 6 cd/dvd player? i assume would be plug and play into that gen 4 unit i will be getting from you also? will it ALSO fit my 2001 in oem place in glovebox?? would dvd's play from the touch screen (by touching it to play) or would it require a remote?

so your wanting to go from 99 tails to 2001+ tails? yes they will fit MAKE SURE YOU GET THE WIRING HARNESS WITH THEM. the 2001+ for some odd reason use a different reverse bulb. im not a tein fan so i ALWAYS so no to tein....thats just my $0.02 on that.

actually the last update was a 2004....and he's right though,all units till 2001 were/are hard drive based nav systems and the last upgrade for them is a 2004 (it will run you about 250, i think i remember) other than that, get a regular climate control assy. and a aftermarket nav (avic-d3 or something like that) and it will work just the same and yes it can be done very easily...simple B)

you cant use ANY 2008 disc but you can use a GEN 2/3 8.1 disc which would be the newest update for you! i just sold a GEN 2/3 7.1 disc which is the 2007 update disc. im gonna update to a gen 4 nav with the 8.1 update disc (well i will, thanks to DCfish, i will have it by either end of this month or first if april)

well joe, you could have many things going on....you could have a small leak, your sunroof drain could be clogged, your a/c system could be leaking, your heater core could have a leak... could be leaking onto a fuse box and maybe thats why some of your electrical problems arent working....do you know where the leaking is coming from? might try running a water hose over car and seeing it leaks or try a carwash or then try the a/c system. good luck sir...keep us updated

Just use GOOGLE.com the answers are there. from a quick overview of what i saw the differences are things like stiffer springs, diff. color emblem and badges, ...nothing major. nothing major....some exterior/interior colors, stiffer suspension, badging, different fenders or at least fender badges, floor mats, interior badging. motor as far as i know is exactly the same....might have a different oem exhaust but i dunno... only reason i would even want one is for that lovely saddle interior!

yeah its almost a year old link...was a company that sold the timing belt, tensioner, idler pulley, and water pump all in a kit...for CHEAP... my $0.02...order the plugs direct from sewell...i think i paid 42 for my oem plugs on my 2001 gs430. they are a dealer and offer discounts!

where did u come up with this? your referring to the ecu relearning itself but it will NEVER make the car shut off....plus NO dealer is gonna tell you that! u should never have to shift into neutral and rev the motor...

hi smart....i ironically am JUST pursuing this and getting it done....i have almost gathered up all the pieces i need....should all be taken care of in next week or month at the latest... i wont bash them but i personally will NEVER use elemental, lotta bad feedback i have seen bout them from people i trust
