The GS counterpart would be the Toyota Avalon. But hands down, Lexus GS is the way to go! Its the perfect blend of Toyota reliability and Lexus refinement.

Hey everyone. I've been browsing around and I have not seen a discussion on this but I am pretty sure I am not the only one thinking about this. Through natural use, the front doors have gotten worn in, so to speak, and they do not have the tightness when opening and closing like the back doors. My back doors aren't utilized that often so they still have that brand new feel of tightness and they still have that wonderul tight sound of closing a lexus door. I do not know if its possible but I want somehow to restore the front doors to that same feeling. I am pretty sure it would involve the door hinge, screws, seems and so forth. Any insite and/or discussion would be appreciated. Thanks to all.

Hello to all. Fairly new to the forum. I have a 2001 GS300 w/pioneer stereo and I am having the same problem with my radio display as well. It works fine, I can read the display however the backlighting it out. Any info on how to fix this or how to replace would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to all who reply in advance. And thank you to everyone for making this forum and this site what it is to all Lexus enthusiast. By far the best.

Hello Dcfish, I am a new member to the forum. I have a 2001 Lexus GS300. I am not quite sure of the stereo that comes with it but it is stock. Help would be appreciated. I am having the same sort of problem. My radio displays information, however the backlight is out.
