  1. 10000 miles is a little early... how hard do you drive it?
  2. Thanks for understanding about the caps ;)
  3. I actually dont think they'll be any cosmetic changes, they listed them all out for the IS, but just said exactly what I said above for the ES...
  4. SORRY ABOUT THAT, BUT I LIKE TYPING WITH CAPS. BESIDES, THAT'S OLD SCHOOL ABOUT THE TYPING IN CAPS IS YELLING... PEOPLE NEED TO LET THAT GO. BUT ANWAYS, YEAH I HAVE THE BROUSHURE AT HOME. I'LL TAKE A COUPLE OF PICTURES. IF YOU REMEMBER THE OLD SITE "LEXUSFANS.COM" THEY HAD THE ALL WHEEL DRIVE ARISTO. BUT THEY DON'T HAVE THE SITE UP ANYMORE. -TWINTURBO619 Well, if you're not interested in being polite to your fellow members thats your perogative. Please remember though that our cardinal rule here at LOC is that rudeness is not tolerated. Please, in the future just be considerate of others and you'll have no problems here ;)
  5. Generally Lexus resale stays strong even after a body change...
  6. The gen II should seem larger and have more room than the Gen I.
  7. Thats why you should check out www.cellport.com they have a similar system to the Nokia, but its upgradeable to whatever phone you upgrade to.
  8. Um, no lol. Try another Lexus dealer they're just being difficult. Try stopping in person...
  9. On a heavy vehicle like the Lexus with soft pads designed for quiet operation 2 years could easily be the brake life. Some LS owners dont even get 15,000 miles out of a set of brakes... Also all depends on how you drive.
  10. Not sure, it just says "The ES SportDesign is a visually jazzed up version of a vehicle known for understated elegance. Black birds-eye maple interior woodwork, channeled spoke wheels, and two new exterior colors give it a sporty look inside and out" No mention of the size. My guess is they'll be 16 inch exact same size as the normal wheels to save on re-tiring costs, similar to the wheels on the GS Sport Design (same wheels, different finish). It doesn't seem nearly as complete a package as the IS or GS which list titanium lamps, etc.
  11. Generally typing in all caps is considered rude on the Internet ;) I'm looking forward to the pics...
  12. Trying to upgrade the phone is impossible, but it can be completely replaced with another system, check out www.cellport.com
  13. You have no idea what the noises could be, I'd at least have somebody do a diagnostic on them... Anyways, like with any problem its always going to cost more to fix down the road once the problem gets worse.
  14. Other way around, Lexus people are always nicer, thats what being better paid and having the fear of God put into you about irritating customers does to you lol. You're going to have to call a Lexus dealer to pull the computer history, I dont think Toyota has access to it.
  15. I also agree, the magazine is rediculous lol, but they do have little snippits of upcoming models etc.
  16. Well if its as-is, then its not gonna make much of a difference ;)
  17. I can't find anything about it online, but from the little blurb in the magazine it doesn't look nearly as involved as the GS or IS SportDesigns, just the black birdseye maple trim (which I always thought would look great in the car, although its not really my thing) the "channeled spoke wheels" and the two exclusive colors. Hopefully I'll like the wheels and can score a set for mine...
  18. Thats my guess, the wear indicators always seem louder when going slow...
  19. Came about a week or so ago...
  20. I was looking through my Lexus magazine tonight and I noticed a little snippet I thought everyone would find interesting. Lexus is doing a SportDesign version of the ES due out in march with black birdseye maple trim, special wheels, two special exterior colors and sport design badging. I'm trying to get more info but its still sketchy...
  21. Its nonexistant when it comes to my car lol I hate towing with my Explorer, let alone the Lexus!
  22. Randomly burning out indicator bulbs can also be a symptom of circuit board failure...
  23. I'm sorry to say, but as a first time owner of a car, I have no idea how to check the spacers and indicate premature wear on the hub/suspension! :( I was looking over the pictures again and the one with the tire seems to have a bit of rust on it, shouldn't I be concerned about that as well? If you pull off one of the wheels the spacer will be obvious, its like a doughnut installed over the standard hub seat. Actually, I'd borrow the car and take it to a mechanic of your choosing first and just let him check it completely out.
  24. It MAY work, but I've heard that the discs are copy protected...
  25. I wouldn't LOL... For one thing, since the car isn't rated for towing anything that ever happens to the motor, transmission whatever will void the warranty and be your problem. I just wouldn't risk it...
