  1. You can't compare an 01 ES300 with an 07 ES350. You can't even compare an 02 ES with an 01 ES. The ES is now significantly larger, more comfortable, better riding, more powerful, and quieter than the previous ES'. Its a lot more similar to the LS.
  2. Not actually. The halogen lamps are used for flash-to-pass in some cars (not all) but are not generally used for high beams. The RX330+ does NOT have bi-xenon headlamps.
  3. The 07 is an LS460. Thats why I don't have the car serviced at Toyota lol
  4. The 2004+ does not have bi-xenons. Bi xenons use the same xenon module for low beams and high beams, the RX330+ still has halogen high beams and thus does not have bi xenon headlamps, projectors or not.
  5. Tires are very important on a Lexus, the ride is much more dependent on the tires than something like say a Cadillac or Lincoln is. The MXV4s are probably some of the quietest tires you can buy. What PSI are they aired to?>
  6. No problem, good to know.
  7. Lexus-Parts.com has them for like $280, thats probably the best deal you'll find.
  8. Here's the agreement my dealer uses. Lexus_loaner_agre..pdf
  9. Wow, I'm impressed by how great they look. Nice wheels too ;) hahaha
  10. When you're posting upload it as an attachment
  11. Thats just a photoshopped IS. It does kind of look like a Volvo...
  12. Especially since there is no such thing as an 07 LS400 lol
  13. Very rarely do I read a wwest post without rolling my eyes...totally useless information thats of no interest to anybody. Anyways yes I have heard that Lexus will be coming out with a smaller SUV to slot in below the RX and compete with the BMWX3, the Acura RDX, and the upcoming Infiniti EX. No idea when, we've seen no spy shots or anything. My guess is 2010. If you are planning to purchase now I wouldn't wait.
  14. Its the kind of thing they'll do for free when your car is in for service. I wouldn't try to adjust them myself.
  15. No, it's a solid car with issues that should have been taken care of by the prior owner or Lexus. Well, its not Lexus' fault the vehicle has not been maintained. However good a vehicle is, it still has to be maintained.
  16. I have a Lexus loaner agreement and I read the back of it, nowhere does it say it can only be operated locally. It says it cannot be driven out of the country (i.e. to Mexico or Canada), but thats all.
  17. Sounds to me like you bought a beat up abused used car. Should have had a mechanic look at it before you bought it. The Lexus is a good vehicle (I have driven MANY RX330s and have experienced none of the issues you've described) but any car can be abused like this car was. The larger wheels have nothing to do with brake clearance, its for style thats all.
  18. Cool! Alls well that ends well.
  19. Nobody has ever told me that, what dealer is telling you this?
  20. I don't believe the LS is supposed to do that...
  21. They're set cautiously low from the factory. take them to the dealer and ask them to adjust them upwards, they can do that and it will help a lot.
  22. I'd be very surprised if you needed struts at 55k, although they can deteriorate with age too. I'd take it to an indy shop that knows Japanese cars and just ask them to inspect the struts, don't mention bounciness and see what they say.
  23. You know you can disagree with me without insinuating that I'm stupid and don't know the value of money.
  24. Do a work up on KBB.com of your car with and without NAV. That $2550+tax and interest if financed option becomes a paulty $500 on a trade in and if you think you'll get anything close to that $2550+ extra selling it yourself,I think you'll be in for a big surprise. I will say it's a plus to a potential buyer, though. I don't have to do a workup on KBB because I'm looking around for a nice 06 LS430 myself. At this point I can look at a price and tell you whether the car has nav or not because the difference is that significant. I said I SAW the value in the real time traffic, I just somehow have been able to survive the last 5 years having nav without it. Traffic is bad in DC, but its always bad in the same places at the same times so I know where they are. If I get caught in a backup I simply hit "detour" and it gets me around it. No big deal. Thats fine, but that data is compiled over a nationwide data set which is not applicable to your specific location. Among used Lexus vehicles in metro DC, cars with navigation sell for several thousand dollars more than cars without. Thats a fact. Whether thats the case in Kansas or not I don't care. Why are you so obsessed with proving me wrong? I disagree with you and you're not going to be able to change my mind. I have no interest in portable GPS units whatsoever, I find them ugly and pointless, and I would never buy another vehicle without built in navigation. Thats just my viewpoint and I'm entitled to it, so leave me alone about it.
  25. Why hello there galaxee ;)
