  1. I'm 81 and am out of date so I am thru posting... but i/we still drive our 99 LS til the Lord calls us home..
  2. he's new I guess but my 81 year old eyes see it also.. ok, it says 1.this carpet just lifts out 2. remove these screws 3. pry out this vent, the easiest way is to wedge from the side 4. always use nonmaring prybars like a kitchen turner 5. remove these screws 6. put your prybar at the front of the console and wedge "rearward", there are 2 locking tabs where these lines end when youve cleared the tabs it lifts out..

  5. I got one from a salvage yard right color 15$ and put it on, worked perfect
  6. my 99 has 193+ and I recently replaced my lower ball joints, SRB's and tightened the top nut on the struts (under the rubber cover) about one turn. got 4 wheel alignment and it is so silent, it is like new... really... I also have 2001 17 inch wheels with 235/55/17 Goodyear Eagles on it and it just floats on the interstate... here is a current photo

  9. No it was just slightly pulling to the right and the steering wheel was also just off center and I thought new tires might bring it back but they didnt so I had it done... This was my wifes car until I sold my Black one and I felt the pull. now we share..
  10. after replacing my lower ball joints I took my 99LS up and had it aligned and now it even "rolls" like it used too... I had forgot how free and easy it used to go down the street... 191k and they told me it sure was in good condition.. felt good..
  11. THE REAL PROBLEM...... the contacts were damaged inside and was not actually making contact.. it is now my spare key..

  14. my nephew put my LBJ's in today and now I am safe again the old ones were so loose I could move them with my fingers let me ADD: new SRB's, BJ's and tightening up the upper strut mounting nuts (under the rubber caps in the engine compartment) has made my front end COMPLETELY silent again, like new... so pleasant to drive with NO noise/sounds... I got that strut/nut info off this forum or the CL forum.. dont overlook that.
  15. dont panic, the lower ball joints just bolt on, they are less than 100. each from south atlanta lexus.. less than 100 for both from Parts Marvel Grand Rapids Mi. sales@partsmarvel.com they look like this

  17. E-gas do a search and you can find dealers you can order from, and some have better prices than Sewell.
