What about the 12 accessory connector on the bottom of the middle console? Just run the wire back along the console and under the seat.

I see an option for toll roads, which was on. I did not set that, perhaps a glitch. I do not see any setting for off road/ freeway. Where would that option be? Thanks

Since December my nav has been working very well. I attempted to travel from NY to Atlantic City NJ, the NAV insisted on taking me though rural country roads. Everytime I would stay on the Garden State PKWY, it would try to route me off. I did not see any options for rural vs highway. I tried quick, short, no po's. Happend as I got close to home too. Usually it guides me very well. Any clue why all of a sudden this would happen?

I purchased a small brush type touch up paint from the dealer. The color is brekwater blue. Where I apply the paint, is very noticeable. (small spots) Is there any secrets to get them to match?

Yes, used a heat gun and plastic scraper. Very gently lift one edge as you apply the heat. Worked fine. I did this to self install the gold emblem package I purchased on ebay.

I had asked the same questions a few months ago, no answers though. The trip computer resets if you stop for any reason, so why have a reset? Yes the Nav shows mileage distance and time to dest. But no simple trip timer. Really suprised me to the point I asked my dealer about this and he never bothered to return my call.

What version does the latest show on the screen? I am interested to see if my 04 rx330 has the latest or not..

I have tried different octane ratings in my rx330. I have never found any difference in gas milage or performance.

Does the rear wiper lift up to clean? I was concerned and did not want to force it when I felt it would not lift up?

Just connected the rear door speaker inputs. Radio set to Front, which sounds the best. More bass if set to rear, but you lose the presence in the front. Trying to pull the front apart for those speaker wires was a thought, but this worked out well enough. The factory bass is not bad just needed a little more...

Yes the panel between the doors. All the panels snap off. But be careful and use a insulated special prybar (these are small, like a screwdriver with a large curved 1"head)so you don't damage the plastic. Also use clip on terminals so you don't cut the wire. If you have never performed these types of installations perhaps consider using the services of a pro installer. Good luck. One final note I added a 1 farad cap next to the basslink, really helps deepen the bass punch due to the voltage drop in the wiring.

I added a basslink sub in the rear. I use a plug arrangement and can remove it when I need the room. Works vey nice. It has a remote control level control. I picked up the audio from the rear speaker wire in the columns. Used the cig lighter plug in the rear for power. neat package sounds just right now.

OK, we are pleased your prblem is fixed. Can you share with us what the problem was (technical term) and the steps taken to remedy the vibrations?

Did the dealer mention what the error code was? I have not heard of this problem in any lexus forum

I have had that rattle in the door, seems to be the cable from the mirror. Try pushing the mirror all the way foward and then all the way back. It stops after I do that..

Is there a trip timer included with this Nav system? I have a trip display the does not indicate time, only avg speed and gas milage. also the trip distance and time resets itself if you turn the car off.. Can this be set NOT to reset itself?

Interesting, the side view mirrors with the lights impressed me. I want them.....

I have received the Mud guards and installed them. Lexus part number 08414-48820 cost$137 I had to install them Bottom line is they don't do much. Better off going to a custom detailer and get aftermarket ones installed.
