I have purchased a few cars form rallye, they are far superior to the Manhattan Lexus dealer. I deal With John Cappozi. Latest was my 04 rx330, loaded as you can see. NAv is really neat, guess voice may be better. I have not played with one yet. Also considering the RX400 Hybrid model next year. Hello, side step tubes dealer installed, Chrome or stainless, I think Chrome. They are hard to keep shiny though. maybe wagg made them? The Nav disk 4.1 I think, 3.1 was from 1 year ago.

Received my Nav disk update last week before a trip. Ver 3.1 mad a BU and installed it in the 330. One of the areas that had no coverage now has street maps. So far so good, have not noticed much of anything else change. Anyone else notice much differenc?

I also received a brochure. Currently have an 04 rx330. Getting 18 in town avg highway 23-25. Would like the improved mileage. Where are the batteries? Looks like the seats are a different arrangment. Does anyone know if there is less storage space inside? Are the little compartments below the carpet still there towards the rear?

Where can I purchase this dvd disk? The URL listed here is not for the new disk. I can put the dvd in. Dealer may be more expensive, they also claimed they don't have it..

Has anyone installed the newer nav dvd disk? Dealer claims it has not been released. If it has where can I purchase one? TIA

Trying to find some replacement bulbs for my rx330. So far no parts stores have the turning signal lamps. They are marked WY21 amber color, used for front&rear t :( urn signal. Anyone know where I can mail order replacements. Dealer to far to go for just a bulb.

I thought the RX330 used LED's for all the rear lights. If not how many filament type bulbs are there?

Wow, really too bad about this problem. It is not normal for the 04 rx330 to smell. This 04 rx has had the least odor from the air cond than my previous cars/Lexus. Good luck and let us know what happens.

No, I don't think so. At lease I don't think I have the towing package, but the car numbers do match the numbers given here for the Factory and Vin numbers. It will be performed end of next week.

Just got a recall notice to replace the radiator . The letter said the radiator could crack in cold weather. Anyone else get this?

I purchased and installed them on my 04 330. They are better than none, sort of work. They should have been there in the first place....

I will be doing the front pads myself soon. What socket/torx is needed to remove the calipers? Thanks. By the way, Japanese cars are some the easiest ever made for DIY brake jobs. If they are easy for the do it yourselfer, how much profit do you think a shop will take from your wallet? ←

I wiil respond by saying the shifting was (is) not my concern. The PROBLEM is when slowing down around 2-5 mph, IF you need to accelerate more than a slow ease, like avoiding an accident, the car will lag, very DANGEROUS.... I have reported this to the dealer 3 times, all they do is reset the computer. BTW my 03 ES300 did this too. My 04 RX330 is worse somtimes that others, but never acceptable. It won't be fixed until someone is killed. In my opinion. :o

I have 11,000 on my 04. Getting about 17-18 NYC driving, best I ever get on the Highway was 26, mostly averages about 24 on the road. Keep it at 60mph and you may get 26.

I have checked on two different rx330's the mirror tip down is disabled when set to the middle setting. Either right or left will cause both mirrors to tip down. I have not found a way to just have the curb side tip down. Can anyone confirm they can do this with a 04 rx330?

My Dealer has quoted me $900 for the hitch and another $265 for the wiring harness. Does this agree with other quotes by Lexus?

Try clay, with fastshine. I have used it and it does work. Griots garage, or top of the line may carry it.

I installed the commander series xm radio. Very small head. Very visable. Used velcro for mounting the head. You can get the radio installed for about $45-75. I did the install myself and located the small cpu interface behind the center console. Iworked out well. The sound from the FM tuner is quite good too. Much better low end than standard FM. I mounted the antenna (magnet type) in the middle of the car about 4" above the windshield. The wires is very small and I ran the wire through the rain channels, then used a drop of hot melt glue to secure. You can't see the wire or glue. Worked out very well.

Got rear ended yesterday, thank goodness for the Wagg Bumper guards. The wagg was pushed into the bumper and the drivers side quarter panel is sticking out. I believe it would have been much worse if the wagg bar was not installed. No airbags went off.

I had the dealer set the autolock to off. I have found if you use the key to close all the windows, sometimes the car will go into autolock until the key is used to start the car. Is this a glitch or does it work this way?? Thanks

I can open all the windows by holding the unlock key. How can I close all the windows? Tried holding the key to the lock position . Tried the holding lock, but that sets the panic off. Tried two times, Anyone know how to do this. TIA
