Does anyone have the C-Best settings list for the RX400h ?

My brother played the stereo with the doors open for a couple of hours while working on his 400h. After doing so, 12V battery was dead. So, it apparently doesn't take too long if you leave enough stuff on. ← The stereo and a couple of lights should take many hours to kill any 12v car battery. Unless the headlights were on. Was the key on acc position? I am not knocking the 400, It has much more power than my 330 when I need it. My to and from the city mileage has been around 25-26, now I am around the local streets and it's about 23, much better than 17 and 13 with the 330. This deal cost me $21,000. I am not sorry I did it. Now that I installed my wood dash and radio stuff, I have the car set to please me..

jerryray...Are the factory emblems plastic?? Put a Thundercloud grille on your new ride. They're on special at this time. My brother's going to put one on his black 400h. I've seen a picture of a black one with the TC grille. Looks awesome in my opinion. :) :) :) ← Can't confirm the 400h, but the RX330 were, still have the original emblems. May get them gold coated. Sure isn't plating or the plastic would melt.

Sounds like that's what they had in mind, but most dealers have a 400h with a wood package on display.

I have found Lexus is NOT making gold emblems for the 400h. Any available are the 33o set, or they dip the silver ones in plating. They are made of plastic though.

I have a Motorola V710, this phone does not transfer phonebook contents. I have entered a 1 touch number manualy, but there does not seem to be a way to enter Name that goes with the number. I think it has to come from a phone book transfer, which MY V710 does not do. So it seems you cannot create a new phone book. Can anyone confirm this? Owners manual is very poor regarding this..

I would think it would, but apparently it does not. Leaving the door lights on overnight will probably not kill the battery, but a couple of days would. I was suprised the lights stayed on though.

I was under the impression that most new vehicles will shut off power if a light is accidentally left on for more than a certain time period. Even our old 94 Nissan Quest had this feature. I know my Corvette does as well. Why wouldn't a 2006 Lexus? ← Not the rx400h, I had the doors open for 4 hours and the door lights never went off.

If for some reason you kill your batter by leaving lights on, will the Hybrid battery start the engine to charge the regular battery. Or does the main 12v battery also start the engine?

The book desribes the filter behind the glove compartment. Should be the same as the RX330

So far I only have 70 miles on my car, mileage is at 24.8 What I have noticed is while in slow traffic, pressure on the accelerator will determine when the engine starts. If I am easy I can get up to 15 mph before engine starts. If I am heavy on the pedal, the engine will always start. I am hoping to get 26-28, but 25 isn't bad either.

luxurymods.com has the gold trim but, as far as I know, not for the 400h. I have corresponded with them about accessories and was told they could check on what I wanted, e.g. black pearl emblems. Steve at L-tuned would, of course, be a possible source as well. The prices ain't cheap. If I recall correctly, luxurymods gets $300 for the gold trim. But, it may be too soon for 400h-specific parts. Your vehicle is silver??? ← Yes Silver/black, just installed the wood trim and all the radio stuff including my XM commander.

Does anyone know the part numbers for the gold trim for the RX400h, perhaps who has the trim in stock. TIA

True, the Gauge, I don't care about but would like a dual needle/tach. Miss my Breakwater blue, Had to install my commander XM radio. Things are well now. Perhaps there will be an firmware update to help some mileage issues.

I agree, My RX400 is only 3 days old, so reserve the Gas mileage information for now. But the article was biased.

Do yours look like the steps on my rx330? ← They are standard issue RX side tubes, I think. I can't see the ones on your 330, but the ones on my 400h kind of angle down towards the front and the back (in contrast to most trucks/suvs that have perfectly straight pipes). I strongly suspect they are the same for the 330 and 400h, but you'd have to ask your dealer. ← right click on my picture choose view , it's much larger

As I recall those steps weigh about 25-30 lbs each. Where did you get 100lbs from?

I have them and like them. While I'm 6'3" and don't need them, I frequently have elderly passengers with mobility/flexibility issues who are at least a foot shorter than I am. The side steps are the only easy way for them to climb in. Prior to having the steps installed, I had to carry a small step stool in the vehicle to assist them with getting in. I also think they look quite good with 400h wheels and my silver exterior. They definitely give the RX a much sportier appearance. ← Thanks, that's good news. Dealer is pretty sure they will fit. My sale is contingent on removing my rear wag bar and tube steps and installing them on my new 400h. Do yours look like the steps on my rx330?

Got $500 better deal, free pinstriping for PU this coming week (save dealership aug payment on loan) and they will remove mud guards and install on new car. jerryray...Way to go man!! Thanks for all the help guys. I have found the color combo I wanted not to far from me, and so have made a deal. I actually got a better deal too. My dealer wanted me to wait until Tuesday so he could keep looking for another car. The general manager said he would not blame me for purchasing the other car, so I can have this one this coming Friday. Really can't believe a company like Lexus has no confirmation information, other than wait 3 months and hope the order is correct. This is where they can learn from some of the car mfrs here in the USA, where you can track the progress of your car..

Yes, need the res for the college trips and need the front screen for me, helps pass the time when the wife shops.... Dealer says I have to wait until December for a factory res..
