  1. how funny is that gilbert... you live in san diego too. i go to that dealership all the time. in fact i was there last week picking up some shocks for my car. small world my friend. i have a friend in florida that might help you with this situation, but you have to send him your key. let me know what's up
  2. lets see, i fill my tank about what... 14- 16 gallons... and i've gotten around 330 miles out of my car on a full tank. so that's about 20 miles per gallon. not too bad for a supra engine and a car that weight over two tons
  3. what's up brak, i rewired my factory sub to a sony amp and let me tell you, it kicks way better than with the factory amp. i'm into installing stereos and stuff so i'm pretty good with wiring. next time you come down, i'll help you rewire your stuff if you are up to it. you'll see the potential of your system! take care my friend
  4. brak, what's up my friend. I'll email you later about that lip. But i'm glad you like the paint. I put it back in the shop because I backed up into a wall. I think you got my email on that too.
  5. any time my friend... if you're intrested in any jdm parts, let me know what's up TT, sorry to intervene but selling of parts from a non-approved vendor/member is not allowed.. This isn't fair to the vendors who pay money to be able to sell here.. This isn't a warning but a heads up.. If you'd like to become a vendor here Email Matt M.. Thanks.. hey there mrsypher, no prob.
  6. can't wait to see the pics... i'm still trying to look on how to remove the arm rest. i'll let you know when i find anything.
  7. what's going on bro, my car is actually the lexus emerald green. i had it recently painted and that's the final product. thanks for the compliment. i don't own the manual but still looking for the instructions on how to remove the center console. do you have any pics of your car? post them up on the gallery. if you want to see what my car looked like before and after, check out the gs300 gallery pages around page 37 or 38 and on.
  8. hey gilbert what's up. sorry to hear that the switch wasn't a remedy. all i can say is that you have a faulty remote key or computer. might want to check with lexus about that. if i can find out any more info on the key, i'll hit you up.
  9. thanks for the props my friend. this is actually a jdm aristo. my car is in the picture below. as for your fm modulator... why don't you take your remote wire and follow it the modulator. i think if you open up the arm rest, there should be some screws at the bottom of the panel to remove... where the air vent is in the back side of the arm rest, you might be able to remove it and find some screws to remove it... those are the only recomendations i can give you at the moment. hope this helps your cause.
  10. any time my friend... if you're intrested in any jdm parts, let me know what's up
  11. hey gilbert, whats up my friend... my my my you have lots of questions. well, the remote that's on your key will only lock and unlock your doors. it has no control to remotely open the trunk. and now a possible solution for your dilema. sit in your driver seat. directly left of your steering collumn and above your e-break release handle should be a little square area with a switch and a keylock of some sort.... well you'll see it... that switch controls your remote from your key to the computer which will enable or disable the remote signal. try pushing the button and see if you are able to lock and unlock your car. when i get home today, i'll take some pics, but i'm sure you can figure it out. good luck
  12. i must agree, i would go with the factory cd changer instead of purchasing and fm modulated one... for the soul reason because mine was a 10 disk and it was original. when you replace your head unit, then i would suggest changing your cd changer, but for now, stick with the stock one
  13. hey what's up, do you have the fm module controller? or are you able to control your cd changer from the stereo unit? well if you are able to control it from the stereo, then there should be a hard cable that goes directly to the modulator... did your car come with this cd changer?
  14. whoo hoo, you got it my friend. I like your car. it has a clean and simple look.
  15. why did they install the fm modular under the center console? and if you got installed at a car shop, have them replace the fuse for you. the center console is tricky to take off... i'll see if i can do research on how to take it off.
  16. sometimes when you tap into a hotwire, the computer is going to tell you that you have a light out when you really don't because of the voltage regulating through a spliced wire. another thing you can check is to make sure you have the correct wattage bulbs to replace the factory ones you burned. good luck
  17. hey gilbert, feel free anytime to ask questions about your car. i too also have a 93 GS. welcome to the scene.
  18. hey gilbert, what's going on. well the stock cd changer does go in the trunk. open your trunk, and look down at the mat. in the upper right hand corner of the map should be the place of the factory cd changer. there are two different mats that go in this trunk... one that's totally flat and one that actually houses a cd changer. if you take off the mat, you will see a stock factory amp with wiring. this is where the original cd changer cable needs to be connected. i've taken my factory one out and placed a panasonic cd changer. hope this helps you out. good luck
  19. hey gilbert, so what are you trying to install? another head unit, original cd changer, or an aftermarket cd changer?
  20. hey what's up, the drain plug will be at the bottom edge of the radiotor driver side. the butterfly wings will be facing towards the back of the car and will be white. hope that helps you out.
  21. hey alex what's up. you can check out my aristo in the galleries under gs300. you'll see them as the last entries... "aristo"
  22. hey alex, this is a pics of my friend's car in japan. it shows the jdm headlights. notice that the outter lens is clear. the amber piece is in the inside of the housing where the u.s. spec lights, the amber piece is on the outside.
  23. Mine are 3pc. Work Rezax, silver Mesh with High Polished Lips... B) okay... i just posted my reply for your post mr. sypher, but it disappeared. hopefully it stays this time. here's a pic of my driver rear rim. almost like yours.
  24. hey alex, what's up. I'll ask my friend in japan about the jdm headlights... he's looking for a set for my car. As for the aristo tail lights, i have an extra set of 96-97 tail lights that i'm willing to part with. they are in fair condition and if you want, i'll send you some pics of the set. they are the two tail lights and center tail with the word "aristo". this is a price quote from my friend's shop in florida 92'- 97' GS300 Center Tail Lamp with "ARISTO" Logo $425.00 92-95 GS300 Right Tail Lamp $79.00 92-95 GS300 Left side tail lamp $79.00 of course my price will be much lower than $583.00. let me know what's up
  25. maybe you don't have enough pins on that connector... if it's the cable i think it is... count them and see if it matches the number of holes on the player/head unit side. maybe that's why you're missing some sound, one pin too short... good luck on that piece
