  1. WELL DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU WANT TO INSTALL YOUR CD CHANGER WOULD DEPEND ON WHERE YOU CAN GET THE 12V TAP. NOW, IF YOU'RE GOING TO INSTALL THE CD CHANGER IN THE FRONT, THEN I WOULD EITHER RUN A STRAIGHT POWER FROM THE BATTERY ITSELF WITH A FUSE TO THE CD CHANGER, OR NUMBER TWO, YOU CAN PULL OUT YOUR RADIO, DISCONNECT THE WIRING HARNESS AND WITH A SIMPLE POWER TESTER, YOU CAN FIND OUT WHICH WIRE IS HOT... JUST SPLICE INTO THAT WIRE AND CONNECT TO YOUR CD CHANGER. NOW, IF YOU'RE GOING TO INSTALL FROM THE TRUNK, LOCATE YOUR FACTORY AMP, DISCONNECT THE BIGGEST HARNEST AND WITH A SIMPLE POWER TESTER, LOCATE THE HOT WIRE AND SPLICE INTO THAT THEN CONNECT TO YOUR CD CHANGER. I'M CURIOUS, I'M THINKING YOU NEED MORE THAN THE 12V WIRE TO MAKE YOUR CD CHANGER WORK. I INSTALL AUDIO EQUIPMENT AND TO MAKE A CD CHANGER WORK PROPERLY, YOU NEED A GROUND, POWER, AND REMOTE WIRE. THAT'S JUST TO POWER THE SUCKER UP, AND FOR SOUND, DEPENDING IF YOU HAVE RCA PREOUTS OR NOT WILL DEPEND ON THE SOURCE OF YOUR SOUND. HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU OUT. GOOD LUCK.

WHAT'S GOING ON GUYS, WELL I DROPPED MY ARISTO ON MY OWN IN MY GARAGE AND YES, YOU DO NEED A SPRING COMPRESSOR THAT YOU COULD RENT OUT FOR ABOUT 50 BUCKS FROM YOUR LOCAL KRAGEN OR AUTOZONE AND IF YOU HAVE AN AIR COMPRESSOR WITH AN IMPACT GUN, EVEN BETTER TO HELP YOU COMPRESS THE SPRINGS. THIS JOB SHOULDN'T TAKE YOU MORE THAN FOUR HOURS IF YOU'RE A NOVICE AT THIS. I DROPPED MY CAR WITH INTRAX SPRINGS ON STOCK SHOCKS. LET ME TELL YOU THAT I WAS SURPRISED THAT MY CAR STAYED WITH THE ORIGINAL FACTORY RIDE. NO BUMPS NO NOTHING. IT CONTINUES TO RIDE LIKE A DREAM TO THIS DAY. SO YOU ARE ABLE TO USE STOCK SHOCKS IF YOU CHOOSE TO. GOOD LUCK ON YOUR DECISION. OWE YEAH, TO DROP A LEX, PROBABLY ABOUT 80 BUCKS AT A LOCAL SHOP WHERE I LIVE.
  3. i did a custom install on my aristo. i have a panasonic dvd screen with a custom back plate. perfect fit. all wiring from my head unit had to be run all the to the trunk because that's the only place where the brain would fit. and from the brain, all the wiring for speakers were ran to the stock wiring harness for the original radio.
  4. THE WIRING HARNESS SHOULD BE CONNECTED TO THE FACTORY AMP. THAT'S WHERE YOU CAN FIND THE TWEETERS, SPEAKERS, AND SUB WIRES. TRY THAT OUT. GOOD LUCK
  5. SO IT'S THE TRANNY DIP STICK EH... WILL IF YOU'RE THAT FAR OVER THE FULL LINE, SOMEONE'S HEAD IS GOING TO ROLL. OUR CARS ARE VERY LOW MAINTENANCE AS LONG AS YOU DON'T ABUSE OR OVER DO IT. YOU'RE PROBABLY OVER BY 1 QUART AND SOME CHANGE. NO MORE THAN TWO. BUT STILL EVEN THEN, YOU DON'T WANT TO OVER DO IT WITH TRANNY OR OIL BY THAT MUCH. IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN, WITH TOO MUCH TRANNY FLUID, YOUR GEARS WOULDN'T ENGAGE AND YOUR CAR WOULD JUST SUCK A BIG FAT NUT. SOMEONE OWES YOU BRO.
  6. I'M SURE IF THE OIL LEVEL IS ABOUT 1 1/2 ABOVE THE FULL LINE, THAT SOUNDS LIKE ABOUT 6 TO 7 QUARTS.
  7. WELL I HAVE A FIRST GEN GS300/ARISTO AND THIS IS WHERE I FOUND MY FACTORY AMP. WHEN I OPEN MY TRUNK, MY CD CHANGER IS MOLDED WITH THE MAT AND TO THE RIGHT. I HAD TO TAKE OFF THE MAT THAT COVERS THE TIRE, AND THE INTERIOR COVER THAT HUGS TO THE PASSENGER REAR FENDER. THAT'S WHEN THE WHOLE CD CHANGER IS EXPOSED. UNDERNEATH THE CD CHANGER, IS THE FACTORY AMP ON MY CAR. I HAVEN'T SEEN WHERE THE CD CHANGER IS ON THE 2ND GEN GS BUT IF IT'S SIMILAR TO MINE, THAT'S WHERE IT WILL BE. GOOD LUCK.
  8. SORRY ABOUT THAT YO, THOUGHT YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT A KIT. I HAVE AN AFTERMARKET DVD SCREEN HEAD UNIT IN MY CAR. THEY HAD TO CUSTOM MAKE THE FRONT PLATE. CAME OUT PRETTY SWEET. THERE'S TWO PLACES WHERE YOU CAN INSTALL THE STEREO, EITHER THE TOP RACK OR BOTTOM RACK... MINE IS AT THE BOTTOM BECAUSE OF THE SCREEN THAT POPS UP. BUT ANYWAYS, IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR? IF SO, I'LL ASK MY COUSIN IF HE IS ABLE TO MAKE ONE FOR SOME MONEY IF YOU'RE INTERESTED. LET ME KNOW.
  9. I DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU'RE FROM BUT YOUR LEXUS DEALERSHIP IS RIPPING YOU OFF BIG TIME BRO. MY EGR VALVE WENT OUT AND IT ONLY COST ME ABOUT 120.00 BUCKS FOR THE STUPID THING. NOW ABOUT THE DISTRIBUTOR, THEY CAN GO TO HELL BECAUSE OUR CARS ARE VERY LOW MAINTENANCE AND I'M SURE THAT THE DIST. WENT OUT. IF THAT'S THE CASE, THEN THAT'S A FIRST BECAUSE I'VE NEVER HEARD OF A DISTRIBUTOR GOING OUT. ANOTHER TIP IS, YOU CAN ALWAYS GO TO TOYOTA AND ASK FOR THE SAME PARTS, IT MAY BE CHEAPER, IT MAY NOT, BUT YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TELL THEM I OWN A "WHAT EVER YEAR YOUR GS300 IS" TOYOTA SUPRA NON-TURBO. REMEMBER THAT THE ENGINE IS IDENTICAL TO THE TOYOTA SUPRA. MY LEXUS AND TOYOTA DEALERSHIP ARE RIGHT NEXT TO EACHOTHER. SO I GET A PRICE QUOTE FROM LEXUS THEN WALK OVER TO TOYOTA TO SEE IF I CAN GET A BETTER DEAL.   10. HEY WHAT'S GOING ON, I JUST RECENTLY INSTALLED A KIT ON MY GEN 1 GS300 AND LET ME TELL YOU, THAT'S AN ALL DAY THING. DEPENDING ON WHAT KIT YOU BOUGHT, WILL DETERMINE HOW MUCH WORK HAS TO BE DONE TO IT. I HAVE THE ADMIRATION KIT ON MY CAR, U.S. VERSION CALLED THE TITAN KIT. THIS ONE PROBABLY TOOK AS LONG AS 8 HOURS TO INSTALL. YOU HAVE TO REMOVE ALL THE TAIL LIGHTS, REMOVE ALL THE BUMPERS AND SIDE SKIRTS. AFTER THAT, WE HAD TO CUT THE REINFORCEMENT BUMPER GUARDS. WHEN I MEAN CUT, I MEAN "CUT"... JUST TO MAKE THE REAR AND FRONT BUMPER FIT. BUT AFTER EVERYTHING IS DONE, IT JUST LOOKS BAD !Removed!. ON TOP OF THAT, I'M PROBABLY THE ONLY GS OWNER IN THE U.S. THAT OWNS A SPECIAL JDM WING. WELL I'M HOPING I'M THE ONLY ONE, I HAVEN'T SEEN ANYONE ELSE WITH THIS WING.
