  1. has anyone tried the michelin hydroedge on there ls yet? i was thinking of buying a set although consumer reports rate the falken as the best and it's cheap thanks
  2. it seems that the manuel doesn't tell you for my 95, i had to figure it out by looking behind the light assembly
  3. if he has his lights to come on automatically when it gets dark, the manual will tell you, if you don't drive the car for a week or so, turn the system off because it can drain the battery. that could be the problem if the battery is 3 years old.
  4. go to ebay and look at them, they have plenty of pics
  5. i checked ebay, nothing i checked your pics out, nice
  6. where can i buy the clear signal lenses for my 95 ls? thanks
  7. i believe 95 is the first year for the fogs. i hear people change the earlier ones to fogs but they will shine to the sides since they are cornering lights. i personally like the cornering lights. i put the silverstars in my low beams and keep them on at all times, day and night. that makes the car look like it has daytime running lights or fog lights. looks nice.
  8. when i had my sc inspected last, the inspector told me he saw a sc a few days back where the light was blown out and i think he said it was about $400 to replace
  9. when i bought my ls, it had been sitting on the car lot for a couple of months. how can i tell if the tires have flat spots on them? i get a vibration at 70 and above. i had the tires balanced and the front-end aligned and it's better but i can still feel the vib in the steering and sometimes in the gas pedal. thanks
  10. i heard that parking a car on concrete for an extended amount of time will drain a battery also. with the low miles, someone probably had it sitting in the garage a lot.
  11. both of my lexuses do it when i start them up and so does a friend's lexus when he starts it up. i beginning to think it's normal
  12. you can buy one on ebay and probably at the dealer also.
  13. Thanks VMF for coming to my defense. i knew i had not gone crazy. i went to autozone today and found out that the low beam is the 9003. advance auto has their web site wrong, saying you need the 9006. this is the first time for me to find an error on their site so i figured i was looking at the wrong bulb. since this is a new car for me, i thought maybe, i was looking at the wrong bulb because the fog light is also housed in the light fixture. goes to show you that low beam on these cars, is not always a 9006 B)
  14. my sc400 is smooth on the highway and the smooth roads but it is rough on the bumpy roads and on the bad streets in the city. i can relate to what he's saying. that's why i am selling my sc and am enjoying my ls
  15. i want to put the silverstar low beams in my 95 ls. the part number at advance auto parts is 9006st. the pictire they show has a plug on the end where as the light has 3 prongs sticking out of it. is the picture wrong or is it me looking at the wrong bulb? also, how do you change the fog light? thanks

  18. is it hard to replace the tweeters in the door on the 95 ls? does the cover just pop off? what size are they and will any work? thanks
