you don't have fog lights, they are cornering lights. i think the fog light started on the 95 -
the reason i asked was because, i just got a 95 and thought mine were too high. find out, i did not have it in overdrive, could not figure if it had it until i came upon it with trial an error, playing with the puzzle of a gear shifter lol

has anyone taken notice to what their rpm's are at 70mph, 75mph, in the ls 95 or later? thanks

i was looking at the 93vs95 headlights on the ls. i know on the 93 you have the amber fog light and the headlight uses one bulb for the high/low beam and then you have the cornering lights. how are they set up on the 95 because i see you can buy a high and a low beam bulb? if i were to buy silverstar lamps for a 95, i gues i will have to buy high and low? thanks

prem here is 16 cents more. if you mess up the engine, don't you still have to pay? i would use the prem to get the most performance.

replacing the battery in your key for the on/off switch to the remote is not the problem with the alarm going off. it must be something with a big vibration going by your car that time of morning. the trac system is one of the problems on these cars. i read somewhere it is usually a sensor that causes the light to come on. the sensor i read was $800. they recommend trying to buy a car w/o it. good luck w/your new car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
did the 95 ls have the same problems as the earlier years with the power steering pump leaking and the dash lights going out? also, what about the climate control glass turning black? thanks, adam

i think the black molding pops in and out. i had to put a windshield in mine and i think thats all the guy did. mine was leaking also. found out it was because of rust behind the glass. he primed it really good and put a lot of sealer on it. so far so good. good luck

i was thinking about buying a 93 LS 400. it has the air suspension. should i stay away from this because of the suspension? i hear they can be a lot of trouble. the car has 97,000 miles on it. thanks. adam

i've been looking at a 93 lexus ls 400 with 97,000 miles at a dealer. the car looks and runs like new. the dealer will give you a 3 months bumper to bumper warranty with The Eagle Warranty Corp. free or you can pay extra for a two year warranty. do you think it's wise to buy the warranty or just take the free 3 month's warranty? at a 100,000, is it time for a lot of maintenance? is this a good warranty company? thanks, adam

sounds to me it's the alternator. i would take it to an Advance Auto and let them check it for free. also, if you can get the car to run, diconnect the positive battery cable. if the car turns off, it's the alternator because the car should run off of the alternator like it suppose to, after the car is running. if your aleternator is bad, everything is running off of the battery and that's quickly running it down, since the alternator isn't recharging it.

where i live, there is no 91 octane. only 87 89 93. i'm stuck in the middle of 89 and 93 so i use 93 to be safe. the car calls for 91.

i just put some in my low beams tonight. i like them a lot. they really make the car look nice.

is there a big difference from the silverstar and the piaa lights? can you get away with just doing the low beams or will that look stupid? who really sees the brights because you have to dim the for oncoming cars :-)

dim the dash lights down and the needles should fully glow. turn them half way down. let me know.

turn the dash brightness down to below the click that gives you the brightess glow and they should fully light up. give it a try. it works for me and hopefully for you too so you can save the bucks. let me know.
