  1. Well you have to pick up the phone anyway to use it? If you disabled the Bluetooth from the car you would still have to pick up the phone. Now if you have to go through several steps to change the call from Bluetooth back to the phone I understand but when I am on a call the phone is prepared to switch the call by hitting just one button. I am sure your Bluetooth has a way to do this without having to go through the settings to "disable" Bluetooth each time. Just to be honest it is so easy to do with the phone I have no reason to try to find another way. And like I said you need to pick up the phone anyway if you cut off Bluetooth. Good Luck!
  2. With my iPhone it is easy to switch the call back to the phone by selecting the "source" on the phone itself. Not sure if that helps but maybe there is a way to change over using your phone not the car itself. Our X5 is the same easier to pick the phone up and hit iPhone on it and the call gets switched over. Now on my gx460 there is a transfer button but I have never used it.

  11. NC...He did not buy it from a Lexus Dealer if I remember correctly...not that it matters. Lexus will still CPO their cars if there is minimal damage done. The RX330 that I bought CPO had a small $900 claim and they CPO ed it but I got some serious bucks off of their purchase price. CD...NC is right it sucks but it is not the end of the world. Resale only matters if you are selling it...so enjoy driving it. I had a Toyota Celica GT when I was in high school...I had a few fender benders in that car...air bags deployed 3 times car towed once. 3k claim, 5k claim and the first one was an 10k claim. Two times I had a deer jump out and messed up the front good and then had a dumb a s s pull out in front of me. I thought the car was cursed but to be honest that was one of the best cars I have ever had. After the last accident which was the other drivers fault and his INSURANCE PAID...the car had 60k miles or so on it...I got rid of the car over 6 years later and had over 197k miles on it and it still ran great. So if you have been driving it this long...I am sure the repairs are fine. If it weren't for the fact that the car had been involved in an accident you may not have gotten such a great deal on it either...or you may have paid more is all I am trying to say... Enjoy your car and don't let it get to you...I am surprised you haven't done some type of MOD to the Airbags anyway! Like make them blue... :D As far as trying to sue carfax...good luck I am sure that there are disclaimers about damage that may not be reported on their site and paper work. That is just what the world needs is another class action lawsuit! :whistles:

  13. Try tilting the sunroof up when the windows are down. I have always found if you tilt the sunroof it helps with wind noise if the windows are down....
  14. X5 is the same way! Crazy...no dip stick!
  15. Well I am not a DIY kind of guy but I also have had the trans serviced in the rx330 that we used to have a few times. I think I had it serviced 3 times when we did get rid of the rx 330 it had about 92k on it and the trans had 0 issues. I do check the fluids on a regular basis and the rx330 fluid always was bright red and seemed to have no burned smell at all. I think you are 100% right there is no such thing as lifetime fluid! My x5 now has about 64k on it and I think the next service I will see if they can do a drain and fill on it too. Good post!
