Yeah i have an appointment at Lexus for the 21st. But thats to get the 3 VSV's changed, most likely anyway. I'll ask them about the switch and how much it is. Theres alot wrong with this car, its really annoying im getting rid of it as soon as possible.

Its getting worse and worse haha. I haven't been driving the lexus because of it, its probably just going to die in the driveway. Haha.

I can literally flicker the lights without even turning the switch to off. Something i forgot to mention, when they turn off, the parking lights are on.

Alright i have an extremely sensitive headlight switch. Any touch to the switch when the lowbeams are on, i hear a click near the passengers side airbag and the headlights shut off. Its hard to describe, but sometimes its left me in complete darkness . It used to be easy to deal with until this morning in the rain they just wouldnt stay on, they'd just flicker off. A mechanic told me its the switch arm that needs to be replaced, but im not so sure of it. Maybe a relay? No clue, any help?

Um bought my 94 lexus for 3,750. 189k, worst decision ever. I'd rather not explain why.

try a toyota dealer.

Its usually on the left side, next to your steering wheel. Thats the case with my year, but with 97 isn't it near the trunk button or something?

The seats in my old ES are one of the things i like about my car. They are extremely comfortable to me. They mold to your body. But yeah, go test drive one, thats the only way youll know for sure.

im interested in the easier fog light mod, tho i have a 94, i dunno if it will be that much different. I tried to PM you but it wouldn't let me. :whistles:

I used to use premium, but gas is too expensive now. I barely drive mine anyway lol.

Sorry for resurrecting an ancient thread but. my passenger window goes up fine but doesn't go down. the control from the drivers side makes it go down but not the actual control on the passengers side. what the ?

My check engine light is on, blah blah, got the code for excessive flow. just recently replaced my egr valve and valve cover gaskets. mechanic says it could be the EGR temp sensor? I haven't gotten around to going back, but how much is this? I've never heard of it.
