  1. i think the LS was designed to have that unusual mushy feel. it just feels like lots of brake assist. i wouldnt be too sure that just buying those lines will make a difference in this car.
  2. bushings connect moving parts with a layer of rubber rather than useing metal to metal. also depending on the rubber stiffness the characteristics of the car changes. stiffer bushings will give you a harsher ride but better response and so on.. the softer bushings will give a bit more comfortable ride, soaking up minor vibrations and things. the 4th gen LS came as either a euro tuned sus. or normal. one of the differences being the bushings.
  3. same as any other tire 30-35 psi. i dont know what that is in kpa, but you get the idea.
  4. bean: what do you mean the 1jz wasnt long evough to to use it like the 2jz? jc4: the kits come with thicker head gaskets meaniing they sell them. try call toyomoto or other companies that make the kits about the head gasket

  7. wait a minute i would just slap the motor in there too because the internals are stronger ( assuming that you go turbo), then if you find a 2jz gte bottom end or get better rods and pistons use the 2j block
  8. head should fit but dont know how the gauge cluster and other components will work out.
  9. at the shop i go to regularly, they are putting in a peter ferel kit in to an IS and it is bad! first of all it costs about 10g's and they are having some trouble because they cant get support from the company they bought it from, everything doesnt fit, it looks like a rushed and poorly made product.

  14. i wonder why the daizen arm bushings are listed different for the 92-96 and 97+??
  15. there was a C/D comparison on a merc. S class, BMW 7, audi ,VW and JAG, and an LS430 and guess who won? the LS! not the BMW this time or the Merc. in fact the Merc. came in last because it was aging and getting old.
