  1. if you smell fuel and see smoke out the exhaust then it could be the coils, if not then try bypassing the fuel computer and runn with full fuel pressure, by connecting two of the check connectors, im not sure which ones but maybe someone with a manual at hand could tell you which terminals to short.
  2. look on the rack on the driver's side. if its really bad you can try to force the wheel to either side and there willl be a metal to metal noiise.
  3. i have found that the japanese cars have different smells while the german cars tend to have similar smells especially between VW and Audi(wink wink) but even between those two and merc. and bmw. which leads me to conclude that the recycling law in germany must only let one kind of adhesive? and all the plastics are recycled with a percentage of new material added. so everyone uses the same stuff?
  4. i would just get all supra stuff and get new rubber bushings around the springs while your at it.
  5. well if you already have supra springs then just get supra struts. the suspension arms are all the same so the mounting will fit.
  6. get a kenwood tv deck. it fills up the whole area and its suuuper nice! but its like 1500 bucks!
  7. i had khumo's on my s2000 and i kind of liked the extra feedback
  8. i just always assumed that that was to slow the engine when shifts are made
  9. not hard to do at all you dont even have to disconnect the battery, no computer reconfig.
  10. um did the car run rough all of a sudden? and that smoke does it smell like gas? if these 2 things match then i think 99% that its your coil primary or secondary but you should just chnage both, they range from 75-100bucks from the dealer. if you keep on running like this you will overheat and damage your cats. your oil leak maybe a different case but the plugs are probably just wet with fuel.
  11. there is a way to bypass the fuel pump ecu you have to connect 2 terminals in one of the check connectors if you have the manual it should tell you how to do this, it should be in the EFI section that will run the fuel pump and if you grab the fuel line you should be able to feel the fuel flowing through. also have you checked the ignitor?
  12. hmm so that must mean that something else is wrong resulting in a burnt out computer... i would check on things
  13. ooo... i hate code 12, had a problem with that one an a hachi motor swap.
  14. so its the 17th and i am assuming your here... so is the car here too?
  15. jack up the rear and shake the tires if they rock the bearing is bad or it could be bad bushings in the arms but in any case just take a look, it could be the diff bushing/mount after all.
  16. bad ground some where?
  17. replace the coil. mine tested ok but it wasnt. i ended up replacing wires, caps, rotors, plugs and still ran funny so i swapped out coils from my LS and it fired right up.
  18. i have heard that replacing that sensor gets rid of the light but i didnt bother because it does no harm. i also heard cleaning it can do it too.
  19. well if your firewall is flexing then you could make a brace like they do for brake masters, but you could jsut weld it in to the shock tower and make it a bolt on style to the shock tower and clutch master so if you ever take the master out you wont have any problems. if your wheels move side to side when you push the car most likely your wheel bearings are gone!! doesnt it make noise when you drive? well i guess you cant hear it with all that tire squeel but um yea you should get that fixed fast because it could really get bad and if its that than most likely your going to have to replace the inner hub too which doesnt cost all that much but i had to do this last year. all i can say is that drifting puts enourmous stress on the drive train so you got to keep up on the maintenance. other than that
  20. yea man! when are you coming down?
  21. yea you can rebuild it but i would just take it in to a starter rebuilding shop because most of the time the bearings go too because of the heat. it will brobably run like a hundred bucks with new bearings and everything.
  22. how much is 92 over there?(unless you use 100 or other race gas) over here it can range from $2.46-2.66. parts isnt bad, our local dealer is real good about keeping maintenance items in stock and there are many aftermarket companies. and there's me! if you need more custom work there's me again( im a welder/fabricator at a local shop) and yes you will preobably beat be in a heart beat without even trying.
