:D :D :D BUMPING IN A LEXUS - i don't think so but it is up to you, there systems are part of the reason you have this type of car once you open up the car to aftermarket there always seems to be something else that happens???? mostly negative and then it will always cost more$$$$$ GOOD LUCK

:D :D :D there is no filter in the tranny there is a screen located on the tranny pan , it really never needs to be replaced unless you drop the pan and the screen is in need of replacement , you do not need to drop the pan , there is a drain plug [just like the oil plug] if you need specs on drain and fill - just ask. :D :D :D

:D :D :D i use redline syn in my tran 98gs300 always have and always will i also use NEO syn for my motor oil 5w 30 in the winter and 10w in the summer the best , I also use evans waterless coolant year round -boils at 350 and gells at 40 below. great stuff all around dc

:D :D :D I use NEO synthetic but i understand that REDLINE is also excellent that is the brand that i use in my tran- that is REDLINE tran fluid i have used the same product in all my cars over the years. B)

:D :D :D here is what is in my cdrom manual-check fluid levels,check cooling sysstem hoses and clamps,check coolant strength,inspect/adjust drive belts [replace if required],check exhaust system&heat shielding,clean battery and terminals,inspect fuel lines/tank/caps,check operation of horn/wipers/washers&all exterior lights,wiper blades,headlight allignment,seatbelt and release mechanism,parking brake operation,shift interlock operation,c/v joint boots,brake system,-discs-pads-calipers-line pipes and hoses,parking brake,lubricate chassis,suspension mounting bolts,front wheel allignment,steering linkage and front suspension,steering options,tie rods,gear box boots,power steering system,ball joints&dust covers bolts and nuts on chassis&body,lubricate weatherstripping with silicone,lubricate door hinges,lubricate door locks,check body drain holes inspect paint,rotate tires check pressure,road test. then replace oil,oil filter,air filter,transmission fluid,differential oil,drain and bleed brake lines. AND AS FOR THE TIMING BELT fialure to replace a faulty camshaft timing belt may result in serious engine damage the condition of camshaft timing belt should always be checked on vehicles over 50,000 miles [recomended at 60,000-100,000] a camshaft drive belt failure may cause extensive damage to internal components on most engines. although some designs do not allow piston to valve contactcalled [free wheeling] belts or components should be replaced if the following conditions exist...cracks or tears in belt surface,missing-damaged or cracked teeth or rounded teeth,oil contamination,damaged or faulty tensioners,incorrect tension adjustment. SO replace camshaft timing belt every 60,000 or take your chances!!!!!!!!

maybe that you got a general cd set the cd set that i have has paint specs , torque specs exploded views of virtually every view this has all replacement , rebuild , and all oem toyota and lexus from 1983-2000 this is every model that toyota produced in the years 1983-2000 i love this cd set because i do alot of work on my gs myself and it is great for the wife too! she does the work on her car herself......NICE!!!!!!!! ;) :o
